Having to rewatch old episodes to get my comic trips fix, the rv trip is so rewatchable because it’s not just about the comics. Great story telling and sense of adventure kinda feel to it.

Kat- you are amazing and an inspiration! I suffer from chronic pain. At times it really sucks the joy out of things I love to do. It was a little hard watching my favorite TH-camr go through this and see it in your eyes..as well as Paul's eyes. But you are strong.
This video is the essence of why I watch you. Finding that unique shop with the interesting owner. One who has a cool story and cares for the community!! Keep up the great work!

This is a great episode for so many reasons. It's nice to see a doctor be not only a fellow collector but a store owner as well. Docs shop looks perfect. Are you guys doing this so us Northerners travel down south. You continue to make me love the hobby more!

I’ve had to go back and rewatch your old episodes waiting for a new one to drop.
I was very much behind, and I just got to watching this episode last night. This really hit home for us, I'm very thankful for Kat being so open. My wife also has endometriosis, and it greatly affected her ability to get pregnant. We struggled for years to have our first son, he is 6 now, but we wanted him to have a sibling for a long time and she struggled again, and it was another 3 years of trying with no answers or success. For her entire life she had the same kind of pain, every month it varied, some worse than others, but finally last year we found out that she had endo. It was crushing for her, it caused alot of emotional pain, she felt guilt, felt it was her fault that she could not have a second child, and it was very hard to watch. The light at the end of the tunnel was that she did have an operation aswell, it was different, she actually had as much of the endo as possible physically removed, the hopeful idea was that it would clear up enough to ease the pain, and to help her be able to conceive. And even though the doctor said it would be a very small change of helping anything, she was pregnant within a few months after the procedure and our second son will be along any week now. I showed her this episode, she isnt into comics so she has never seen your show, but seeing this was very inspiring. I know it's well over a year since, and I am hopeful it all want well and that Kat is living a much easier pain free life.
And Paul, I cant even imagine what you have been going through these past months, and I know its impossible for me to be able to say anything that can ease that, but you have been one courageous and brave soul and I hope things are at least showing signs of getting better for you.
You guys are amazing, life comes first, but as a long time fan I look forward to seeing you guys out and about again. To see the joy this all brings you.
My wife suffered with that for years, so I know exactly what you're suffering with. She had one major surgery that removed most of it, but then it came back with a vengeance and she ended up with a full hysterectomy. Thank God by that point we already had our two boys, and she's feeling great and doing great now! We'll be praying for you and wish you well. I just recently found you guys and enjoy your channel.

We are both good... I finish school in June, start in the ICU next month, and then plan to move back to Tampa. Paul is back in NJ and just had a baby boy. He does have a new channel called Kulture Popped, so be sure to check that out!

Wow... Hands Down one of the BEST shop visits since you've been doing this. America needs more shops and proprietors like this one. I'm not really a new-issue or toy guy... vintage back issues are my thing. But if I lived in the area, I'd support this guy in a heartbeat-- you guys did a great job of showing the good vibe of Doc's.

Doc seems like the coolest dude!
My wife was diagnosed with endometriosis at a very young age. For years and years they told her that she would never have children. But after many years of surgeries and heartbreak we ended up having 2 wonderful boys. She since has had her ovaries etc removed which was a tough decision to make but it has helped her tremendously. I wish you the best.

So sad this series seems to have ended. It was a great series and these two helped me realize again the joys of going to comic shops and cons and markets etc. looking for comic and pop culture treasures. Where ever I travel, I visit comic shops and have visited many of the shops they visited, some I didn't know before watching Comic Trips. Thanks for great content Comic Trips - you will be missed.
I wouldn't give up hope so easily if I were you they will be back at some point.

I don't have endometriosis, but I do have Ulcerative Colitis (Autoimmune disease in my colon) so I can relate to the chronic invisible illness. Fighting through the pain i relate to so much. We have no choice. Hang in there Kat! You got this! *hugs*

This looks amazing. I’m putting that on my list of stores to visit when I make my return to the Carolinas and have the time and ability to explore the area. Also I get the invisible disorder thing Kat. As someone who is mildly autistic, I tend to have issues with all manner of stuff that most people don’t have trouble with.
Sup guys, I'm a huge fan of your channel, I''ve watched every single episode 4 times over, and looking back, I don't see that brightness and happiness in your eyes in the new episodes. I know the hardships you guys have been through, at least from what you guys have said in you videos etc.. Very sorry to hear about all of that. I’m still in SC and a few months away from finishing my nursing degree. I’ll be moving back to Florida sometime next year! I start working in the ICU here in the Charlotte area next month!!

Our collection room is still in shambles a year after moving here. Someday it'll happen again. The surgery went without a hitch and the recovery was pretty uneventful. We are now managing pain from migraines as they come with proper diet and exercise.
