I admit, This is the neatest and the coolest DIY work I have ever seen among DYIs. Thank you for sharing, and hope to see more of your cool master pieces...
Got all the materials and borrowed tools and spent days constructing this box. My wife kept saying that it was a waste of time and money as well as the mess in the garage. 2 weeks later I finally got the projection! I set up a test run in the garage and yelled for the family to come watch. Unfortunately they wouldn't come out and I realized they locked me out of the house. Well I have my projecter in my studio apartment now and watching poorly lit shows on the wall don't seem as important. Thanks for the idea, it has cost me a family.
it looks incredible man!! congratulations!! I'm sure that this project already made you proud :D Someday, maybe, I will make one for me. Thank you for sharing knowledge!
Great tutorial and great build. Congrats! Could you please show more videos of this projector, like how does watching movies look like especially fast scenes with high contrast difference. Also, if you have experience, could you review and compare your with industrial made projector?
Very impressive. I have one question. For how long you have tested your system? Is not the LCD become very hot? Your answer will take me one step ahead to make this project.
Popa Ionut hello friend i have one problem i.e. how to drive an smartphone display separately? There is any display driver is useful? if yes please reply me --- gorgeshivkumar@gmail.com
Its very costly .But I am very much inspired also. I am trying to make a prototype . which makes me very unhappy that white is not always white on my screen . how to overcome this do u have any suggestion ?
Sir good finishing. But one by one Which material s and components names presenting sir. So makeing very easily. This video not briefly components list are very helpfully
Did you mount the display with the black side pointing towards the led in Order to have the Image upright? If so how did you manage to keep it cool? If I do so it gets a burning point in the middle even though im cooling it with 2 fans
in the back chamber area where the light is, i think i would have added additional mirrors around the sides to help bounce more light into the screen for increased brightness. though i know this may have made airflow less efficient so i can also see why you wouldn't. i also would have used a finer mesh instead of wire nets to prevent dust from getting in. after looking at the finished design, you also have a LOT of empty space inside that thing, so its possible you could have decreased some of its dimensions. it would have made for a tighter fit for the components inside, but would have decreased the distance the light had to travel inside the projector and helped reduce loss in brightness even further.
Adding mirrors would make the image horrible, as the light would not be going straight. As it is right now, only the light that goes forward goes through the LCD and into the lens, if you add mirrors, (unless they are specially made for this LED to make the light as straight as possible), itll make a mess.
Dear Sir, what about the connections of internal parts...???? Will you please explain that part also with circuit diagram. That will be a great help for sure.
Would encapsulating the LEDs light beam in a reflective corridor improve brightness further? That's a lot of wasted light being absorbed by that big black interior.
Mitch King very bad idea. It would fuck with the fresnel lense, and give you a blurry, distorted picture. Just because then you not only have the light inputted from the focal point, but also from all the inner surface, and that's not going to be redirected parallel with the other rays
very impressive but I take it you can't feed it external video sources like a game console to the tablet right? Wasn't it better to use the LCD controller from your own making a TV video?
Thank you for your effort!! Great DIY video "thumbs UP" Please could u do a review of all electronics and measurements of the box? i see a small power suply unit opposite the led driver and i wonder what it is...
I found this video very interesting. Excellent work. Do you think this projector would be excellent for displaying text, charts, pictures, and other graphics? If you say no, please explain why you say no.
Hey, firstly congrats on a really informative set of videos on making a DIY projector. I've started my own project using 100W led but I am a little stuck on the LCD to use. I opted for a LS055R1SX04 (5.5 inch 1440x2560) which looked good but it is so very dim with a 100W led. Any more wattage and I have trouble keeping things cool. The LS055R1SX04 is not very transparent so most of the light is lost and doesn't pass through the LCD. Does anyone have suggestions on a good LCD to use with a DIY projector. Ideally something that is very transparent. Any HD 5.5 to 6 inch LCD that has good transparency will do but I just can't seem to find one with good transparency.
really cool thing I have seen , pliz share us with more details like where do u get all those circuit board n how to get it . pliz I really want to build it one.
U should add a couple terabyte laptop drive & install Plex. Turn it into a media center. Use Wifi to transfer videos & stuff to to it. U could add a USB network card, probably, and run Ethernet to it, if wifi is too slow for transfer.
Hello, my congratulations, it's great! Do you know how many Lm you are generating? I came to mind a bold idea of a project similar to a smartphone 6 '' screen very compact, will the LED warm up a lot in a small scale project because it is much closer? I also thought of using an aluminum base with peltier pellets to cool off all the confusion, even so maybe the led is too strong for such a scale project. Would you recommend a watts led? Doubt a amoled screen would generate a better quality of projection?
Great video ! Could you tell me the specs of the projection lens and which of the lens's specs are requiered for this project ? You could mount a cpu cooler directly (without the aluminium sheet inbetween) to the LED to improve cooling. Sorry for bad english.
Hi there, I need your advise re making of Projector. My screen size is 15ftt long and width is 6ft. So how I can cover up this size with which projector...
Celso Soares you have to cut your laptop screen to size with a hacksaw. If you are skilled enough, a knife, or a sharp axe will do it too, but i recommend the hacksaw. Maybe jigsaw or angle grinder, but that might burn the edges of the screen
Hey I liked it very much....you have done a very nice job. What is the final price/total cost of the projector. Plz reply you can get a very big chance.
1.Will this projector work for classroom purpose. 2.What is the life of this projector? 3.what is the power usage in watts 4.price of the diy speaker.😅 Plz reply See I can't give you assurance fastly because our project can change anytime so please provide your contact number we will contact you. We need many pieces.
so you only managed a better solution for heat? and this helped to a better img? my uc40 is a little dark img on screens turned off,i think could it be heatup or the lamp power?
I admit, This is the neatest and the coolest DIY work I have ever seen among DYIs.
Thank you for sharing, and hope to see more of your cool master pieces...
There's actually no need for such nice acknowledgement. But' I think I do very much love it.
Thank you...!

That's a very nice finished product. Looked very polished. Amazing craftsmanship.

sir can you tell which material use and write description i think pls
Excellent but complicated run us through those electronics and the connections
Great tutorial and great build. Congrats!
Could you please show more videos of this projector, like how does watching movies look like especially fast scenes with high contrast difference. Also, if you have experience, could you review and compare your with industrial made projector?
Amazing creation hammer. Can you make a 4k version to show us, and is there any lcd controllers with hdr yet?
Retro Gamer wtf man? 4k hdr lcd tablet? Any 4k hdr 7" lcd display out there? Are you in your mind?
beautiful work!
Very impressive. I have one question. For how long you have tested your system? Is not the LCD become very hot? Your answer will take me one step ahead to make this project.
Tested a long time. If you do not install additional cooling for the display it will fail
Would love to build it, but without a video on electronics its impossible :(
Hi i can help you if you intrested in components however hard to do the case no tools. a 3d printer would do the job.
Its a led, power supply, and a torn tablet connected to a charger....basic stuff.
Hey bro can you increase the brightness of this
i will work on mine soon and got a idea of saving the light. anyone intrested on doing this projector contact me. i will help you. ionutp23@gmail.com
Popa Ionut hello friend i have one problem i.e. how to drive an smartphone display separately?
There is any display driver is useful? if yes please reply me --- gorgeshivkumar@gmail.com
great job sir.
Would you please update the product links! Fresenl lens and Led driver links!
This is possibly better than the shoebox Version..
Its very costly .But I am very much inspired also. I am trying to make a prototype . which makes me very unhappy that white is not always white on my screen . how to overcome this do u have any suggestion ?

Can you do the same build with a regular projector bulb that is say 2000 lumens or is that way too hot?
wow, image looks sharp,, well done. Thumbs up for that
Dear Sir, what about the connections of internal parts...???? Will you please explain that part also with circuit diagram. That will be a great help for sure.
balbir singh Sehgal you would need vaaaaay more than a circuit diagram to build it by yourself. That's the thing you should be able to figure out.
Would encapsulating the LEDs light beam in a reflective corridor improve brightness further? That's a lot of wasted light being absorbed by that big black interior.

Great Little Video IF you love DIY projects just for the fun of it.
you should make an instructibles out if this! Such a great work!
Lorenzo Amati sgdd
very impressive but I take it you can't feed it external video sources like a game console to the tablet right? Wasn't it better to use the LCD controller from your own making a TV video?
Universal controller is not suitable for similar LCD displays
Best video .. but Not Easy to made.. 🤝 .
Ficou bonito demais esse projetor
Wonderful 👏🏻👏🏻

Hey, do you think adding this LED to a gp100 projector would enhace image brightness? My projector seems to be very dim now
To Mach.
Very nice.
Good work.
What was the overall cost of that construction?
Your voice is so beautiful i love it
Hello sir can u plz tell me the focal length of the Fresnel lens
The color white reflects white better than mylar; where you want reflective properties to be greatest around that LED, you should paint white = )
but I can't complain, wow you have really produced something amazing here; great job; you're extremely talented!!
Will we not get a mirrored image?
i tried to open the link of the parts you mentioned in the description, but no luck. Could you update it? Thanks
