    Love the in-depth video topic T3x. Thank you and great idea!

      Thank you for the feedback! I wasn't sure if there was anyone as nuts about Tikkas as me.

    When I was searching for a good left handed bolt gun to purchase, I compared all the different brands and models. I was disappointed by some of the oldest manufactures, but was really surprised with the Tikka action. The bolt was smoother than anything I was seeing on the shelves, and the readily available left hand options at the same price made it my next rifle. I have a T3 lite, stainless in 243, with a Boyd’s At-one thumb hole stock and a Mueller 12-24x50 optic.

      @@mountaintacticalcompany It has true Tikka T3X lineage. An absolute tack driver and pleasure to shoot.

    I own 4 Tikkas. Tiika T1x (22 cal), Tikka t3x (.223 Varmint), Tikka Hunter was .308 but converted to 6 Creedmoor, only kept was the action, and Tikka T3x 6.5 Creedmoor Varmint. All have same reduced trigger spring and are tack drivers. Luv them!!

      My main go to for center fire accuracy. 26” Proof Research SS barrel, KRG Bravo chassis, MDT 20 MOA rail, Leupold Mark 5 Hd 7x35 scope, with Hornady 108 gr. ELD Match, it will do 1/2 MOA at 200 yds off bench

    After proper load development, I get consistent 3/4 -1/2 moa

    When you go over bolt dissembling could you demonstrate the disassembly tool you guys sell? Thank you

    • @mountaintacticalcompany
      @mountaintacticalcompany  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely! We finished filming that installment yesterday, and I showed how easy the tool makes disassembly. That video was tough to film because there is so much material to go over when explaining everything the bolt does. It could easily have taken up an hour of TH-cam space, haha!

    Great video! My question would be...How much bigger is the ejection port of the T3X vs the T3?

    • @mountaintacticalcompany

    @MT When are y’all going to come out with your Gen2 223 mags? Called over a year ago and one of your guys said they were getting ready to come out. Makes me think you scrapped them.

    • @mountaintacticalcompany
      @mountaintacticalcompany  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We are just waiting for the new injection mold for the followers. The bodies have all been cut and are ready for assembly once the followers are done. We're hoping to have the mold completed next week and to start assembling mags the following week.

    What is the ctr torque? Plastic stock with metal bottom metal. The way the manual reads is 62 but it’s not the Tac.

    • @mountaintacticalcompany
      @mountaintacticalcompany  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm glad you asked! You have one of the manuals that has an incorrect torque spec. 40-45 in/lbs is where you should torque your CTR. Cheers!

    What size does tikka thread the barrels?

    • @mountaintacticalcompany
      @mountaintacticalcompany  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Tikka has used many threads over the years. M14x1 M15x1 M18x1 and 5/8-24.
      If you have a rifle that is threaded and you are not sure what the thread is, a quality gunsmith can measure the threads and let you know what they are.
      If you are buying a new rifle, Tikka prints the muzzle threads on the box next to the model description.
      Cheers!
