Thank you Pastor Wolfmueller once again for reminding us of our need to remember our Baptism...that Jesus washes away the horrible filth that we are born with and those sins we continue to commit each and every single day. God be praised for him going into the filthy waters and rescuing us. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude1:24-25
What a great picture of the purpose of Christ's Baptism FOR US! Thanks Pastor Wolfmueller. As a fellow pastor (yet older) I am giving you notice that I plan to use this picture in a future sermon. Sorry, no royalties. :)
Note to self: keep all this in mind always. Wow, believers are moving further away from death all the time, not towards it. So, believers can be the aroma of life. Amen. Thanks be to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.
God bless, Rev Wolfmueller. As I was at my ELCA (I know, I know) church, I was thinking about miracles. And at that moment I reflected on all the things that would have to happen in history in order for the gospel to find its way to me. If that isn't a miracle, I don't know what is. I wonder what your thoughts are on that.
The bunker builders flee when nobody pursues. Sounds familiar. But wow, as I get ahold of this baptismal regeneration doctrine, everything begins to make sense.
THE BIBLE SAYS BAPTISM SAVES US Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
At the transfigureation. Moses the embodiment of the law and Elijah the representative of the prophets appeared with Jesus. God says "this my beloved son, listen to him." In this Jesus the Incarnation of the Word is placed in supremacy over the Law and the Prophets.
I wish someone would address this thought. So the baptized infant is saved for the rest of its life? Is rejecting Jesus the same thing as rejecting your baptism?
So where does it say our “souls are rejoined” to our bodies as if they were separate? The Bible is clear we will sleep when we die and Paul says if there is no resurrection than those who sleep have actually perished.
@cindystokes8347: So, you are not really asking a question. You ask a "question" then provide a rebuttal in your next statement as to why what Pastor Wolfmueller said can't be true. How sad. You remind me of the Pharisees who asked Jesus question after question followed by rebuttals supposedly based upon the Torah. Kyrie Eleison!
So if I sleep when I die does that mean I die each time I sleep? Or are you worrying about the letter and not the spirit? The letter kills. The spirit gives life.

Bryan puts self before others safety and I'm guessing he even answers text while driving. So why would you trust him in your journey with the LORD, when he cares less about others on their journey to the supermarket or going to pick up their children from school? Look who long and often Bryan is distracted by the camera.
Amen. As a child of the Cold War, 1950, they have been building bunkers ALL my life. Trust in the Lord and Keep Walking with Him.😊

Never gets old! “You are my beloved son!” makes me emotional too!
Thanks!

AMEN ❤
Encouraging! Amen
Our dwelling place is with the Lord. Psalm 90:1, 27:4, Hebrews 11:13-16, etc.
You said it so beautifully. Thank you ❤
Absolutely beautiful 🥰 God is so good

Amen. Thank you! See you all on the other side.
This is so great!
You are awesome...😂 thanks so much. See ya through the Jorden
If it is our God-appointed time to be ushered into glory, no earthly preparation will prevent that.
Yes, indeed

1. Hopefully, but not necessarily. 2. Yes

Acts 7:59 And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
