Hey Randy since you asked BMW guys for details about the m240: That car uses the B58 inline 6, that makes something like 340hp. The B58s are widely regarded as reliable engines, great for tunning. Exactly the same engine used in the Supra. It's really weird to see it locked up, that is not normal at all. As for the transmission stuck in Neutral, yes you are right, there is a pin under the car you pull to disable the shift lockout in case something goes terribly wrong with the car.
Randy, I've always had a love affair with the 2nd Gen Rams. I'm so unashamed of my obsession that I faithfully maintain my Emerald Green '97 Ram 1500 Club Cab LWB 2wd 5.2L. Yes she has over 222k on the original drivetrain, but she still runs like new. That blue Ram 2500 behind you happens to be a 97 12v Cummins w/ a Manual! As long as the killer dowel pin didn't do her in, that would be safe buy!

Loving the new intro/outro, don't listen to the haters, keep it. Noise on the CLK (m272) engine will be the balance shaft gear issue. It's toast, engine out job, not worth paying to have it fixed. Not too expensive if you can do it yourself but not your type of thing.
Love the older brown dodge Ram my grandfather bought his brand new in 96 Green long bed V8 2wd he had it till 2004 then traded it in on a dodge van and regretted it till the day he died 4 years ago. I have the pic in a frame of him and me at the dealer picking up the truck back in 96 I was teenager.

The blue coupe deville might have a bad park lock out link. When a person slams the car in park repeatedly it can cause the trans lock-out to malfunction preventing it from starting.

Here in Buffalo we got pea sized hail and I was outside trying to protect my car with a umbrella, in what seemed like a freaking hurricane, never seen nothing like that up here it usually only hails regular hail in the damn winter not pea sized hail in the middle of August. I eventually ended up putting big blankets and towels over the flat parts of my car because any bigger windows would've been smashed and cara severely dented man. God was sniping us with hail it seemed man, they were missles
Use my cd changer daily in my 02 Volvo S80. Has a 4 disc in the dash, and a ten disc in the trunk. Speakers are still pretty decent for an almost 20 year old car too.

i work on these p.o.s cars for a living. dnt lose sleep over a bmw. (e30 e46m3, exc is slightly different) 5MM torx screw for putting in neutral or 2 piece special tool deal, i have replaced a b58 for hydrolocking. usually if starter clicks it isnt a starter issue.
The CLK350 probably has a bad balance shaft, a common problem with that era of the M272 engine. Definitely an engine-out repair, but not terribly difficult to do. Repair kit and supplies would run about $500.

I bought a new 2005 Mustang in dark red with a 5 speed and cloth interior, which is the only way it was offered. I kept it for 2 years and put a few thousand kilometres on it and I loved it. I can't believe people are asking today almost what I sold mine for back in 2007. Also, I hate the cheesy stripes people put on these cars.

I have towed many of them, the best thing for a BMW is to stay on a showroom floor and enjoy the beauty of it once an a while being parked, rather have a Mercedes
Arent the newer cars equiped so u can leave the switch to the lights on and they will go off automaticly. Im talking about the beamer but i saw him do that twice now and it reminded me abput my very first car it was a 86 Volvo 240dl and it had the switch u could leave on and the only dif is it would shut the lights off when the car is turned off

Gotta love the M240I. The coupe is the one to have but damn as far as modern BMWs go they got to be one of the best, alongside the old M140I.

The Gm’s 4.8l v8 doesn’t have cylinder deactivation they and only put them in around 2007.5-2008 in 5.3 and other motors they put it in
06 for trucks in the 5.3 and 5.7 and later the 6.0 and 8.1 and 96 for cars was when dod/cylinder deactivation was introdced

in this Mercedes convertible it seems to me that the converter of the gearbox is damaged
Balance shaft gear and chain... Once the EML comes on, it's basically an engine rebuild/replacement to cure.
