But the Michigan losses are intolerable to them, which only a national championship can fix. Not gonna happen. And after this, they will also never like to lose to Oregon. Get used to it.

Damn duck fans are overly confident…it feels eerily like the lead up to the Tennessee game. Ohio state is peaking at the right time. Duck fans be careful with the over confidence
Duck fans know OSU has a great team. This is the REAL national championship game. We all know that. But we also know our team and coaches. WAY better than TN. And we saw the first game. OSU got spotted 7 points early. Ducks gave up 2 touchdowns and got one field goal instead, so we know they could have done better. All the Bucks can hope for is the in-season rule change about 12 players gets them a score, right? Not gonna happen.😅
@ Oregon is 26-2 in the last two years and they lost by a total of six points. The buckeyes are not winning by like 14 points. It’s just not happening dude.
This hype reminds me of the pre game 2014 buildup. All anybody was talking about was Heisman winner Marcus Mariotta and Oregon's up tempo offense. A play every 11 seconds (or whatever) and average scoring time of less than 3 minutes (blah, blah, blah). Then there was the awesome DeForesst Buckner and Arik Armstead - how they were so dominant and disruptive. How the defense was bend and don't break, not giving up many points. Well, it didn't turn out as much. Zekr Elliot ran for over 240 yds. and Cardell Jones (in his 3rd game as qb) had a stellar game. The Buckeyes dropped 42 points on the Ducks, and the Ducks barely had 20. The only thing that stopped Ohio State that day was Ohio State. Period. By the end of the game, it was Ohio State that ran tempo and DeForest Buckner collapsed on the sideline from exhaustion. I know this isn't 2014, and I don't know who will win this game, but the talk is eerily similar to 10 years ago. The only difference is that this time it's basically only the Ducks' side of the media running with the Oregon narrative. The last time it was all the media.
Huh? Oregon's receiving Corp was depleted. Their best receiver in the Rose Bowl Darren Carrington wasn't able to play and Marcus really had no one to throw to. Ohio State stacked the box and went man and Oregon hit on a few plays, but could sustain anything.
They said same thing about pierce with Tenn and wrecking OSU OL and Tenn has a similar if not better fromt 7 then Oregon, OSU also had to deal with Abdul Carter and Michigans front, Burch Isn’t anything new that they haven’t see. Before …it’s going to be a tight game
Tennessee has an excellent DL and they schemed around them…..if you look at the All-22 film, OSU had numerous plays where the DL was irrelevant……a lot of moving pockets and RPOs. Day forced Kelley to call a very conservative game plan against Michigan which is why they lost and why everyone was calling for him to get fired. Should be a great game….shame they have to meet this early in the bracket.
In fairness to Chip, the Auburn game’s offensive miscues (at least in the 1st half) were mainly on Darron Thomas. According to the team’s backup center, and current Portland super attorney - Max Forer, “DT” came down with a horribly-timed case of bright light yips, missed a boatload of throws, and the chance to blow the game wide open. He settled down by the 2nd half and set (at the time) a NCAA Championship game passing record (363 yards). But you’re spot-on on the Jordan Burch impact/factor. And the Chip Kelly of that era hasn’t been seen since right before he went and screwed up the Philadelphia Eagles! Go Ducks!
2023 Washington went undefeated until they met Michigan in the CF final, squeaking by an excellent Oregon team *TWICE* by merely 3 points. Those would be the only 2 games OR lost last year. Oregon knows only too well how hard/easy it is to beat the same team twice. It's a meaningless adage.
In fairness to Chip, the Auburn game’s offensive miscues (at least in the first half) were kind of on Darron Thomas. According to former backup center (and current Portland attorney) Max Forer, “DT” came down with a bad case of the yips in the first half, missed a boatload of throws and a chance to blow the game wide open. Where was Jordan B when they played Penn State? OSU wins by 14 points. Jeremiah Smith is not the same receiver he was in October, he has grown exponentially. You will see poetry in motion.
Pretty much what I’ve been saying. Oregon gets up on them and then Ohio State can’t catch up. Everybody is hung up on Penn State being able to move the ball on our defense. They also extremely hung up on an overrated Tennessee.
Not to be snarky, but one instance this season where Georgia beat Texas twice, does not qualify as a lot anywhere in the known universe, or even America.
Except Ohio had not lost to Tennessee and they are junk btw absolute junk no defensive pass coverage whatsoever and Oregon man handled Ohio’s front line both ways so much more physical than Ohio. Biggest difference Dan Lanning and Company versus Ohio’s coaching staff even though I still like Chip.
This comment is naive, all I see in comment sections is blow out predictions by your fans and not even a single close game. Let’s be honest this is not a matchup we should be having right now in the CFP because the 1 seed has the absolute hardest path to a NC which makes no sense. But as it stands the Ducks will be ready cause their coach always stresses the importance of the current game in front of them. Stop buying into the same hype machine that made you guys look like absolute garbage against the Michigan Wolverines because you thought you were the best team in the nation based on talent alone. Let’s be real both these teams are equal on both sides of the ball and the difference will be coaching and adjustments. I’ll be there to see the game and I hope the Ohio State fans are not poor winners or losers cause I’ll be congratulating them on a win or loss regardless. This is not about us it’s about the players and coaches who put in the work. Let them go out and show us what they are made of and earn the respect of the fans.
Lmao talking crazy, like just play the game and now they are trying to say Tenn sucks when the whole time they were saying how OSU couldn’t handle Tenn defense 😩😂.
I’m a Buckeye Fan. If we still had our starting Center and LT, I would pick Ohio State in a blowout. However the OL still scares me. Amazing Tennessee didn’t overpower them. Tennessee’s Defense considered better than Oregon’s. I think Ohio State’s Defense will be better than last game. I fear the difference could be our kicking game, which has been putrid the last 4 years in Big Games. Ohio State will move the ball a lot on Oregon. They need TDs because of the lack of kicking game. I expect another Great Game but I think Ohio State prevails due to better defensive and Jeremiah Smith who there’s no Answer for.
Who cares who has more fans, ohio state had beat oregon in the rose bowl before. Just another day at the office for ohio state. Hope the ducks show up.
I don’t think the Ducks are going to be happy with the outcome of this game. It sucks you had to play the buckeyes this round. This deserves to be a championship game.
Wow, picking landslide, I subscribed after that. Burch is even more of a monster against the run. If buckeyes get to be in 3rd and long. Matayo U, Burch's replacement, comes in on the other side, he led the big in sacks. Expect mad schemes and tricks from this young staff with all this time to think!
@@That_Team_Out_West again who did ND or Penn St beat that was notible…none of these teams have a good solid win behind them… Atleast the Dawgs played and defeated ranked Clemson, Bama, Tennessee, and Texas twice… I am not even a Dawg’s fan but my bet is the Dawgs will be in the finals

Burch hasn’t been the same since his injury. Yes he was a beast earlier in the season. Since coming back he’s been decent. Not great. Definitely not a secret weapon
Interesting item about Burch per CBS Sports stats - all of his sacks back to the Michigan State game are in Autzen; he has no sacks away from Eugene. In fact all of them came against MSU, Maryland and Washington - all blowouts that you might assume the opponent is passing more than running. Makes one wonder if his sack production is somehow related to the noise in Autzen and resultant confusion on the offensive line. Enough about that. I also want to note that Ohio State lost two starting offensive lineman during the game in Autzen, and with backups having to enter in the middle of the game still resulted in 31 points scored. Ohio State has played against two allegedly good defensive lines in the last two games, Michigan and Tennessee, and has given up zero sacks. Your 45-24 prediction? Possible but unlikely. Oregon scored 32 at home, and will do better on the road against an improved Ohio State defense? We'll see. IMO relative QB play vs their average (Gabriel is definitely better), turnovers and the play of OSU's offensive line will be the deciders.
The question: Is he 100%? If he can be explosive that would be huge. Ankle injuries are typically not a huge deal. Knee injuries are a different beast.
Let me begin while highlighting, the Bucks, and their huge inventory of talent. One point of discussion surrounds the front line and their ability to protect Will, and it is no secret that holes and running lanes are less than desirable, and yet, OSU has enough weapons on offense, with proper coaching. the Bucks have the capability to play and even win against any team in the country. Sooo....the key to victory lies with Chip and Ryan, and no one is holding their breath, both coaches are very respectable and well mannered professionals, but both men are incapable of making changes that will turn a game in their favor. They provide a game plan, and stay with it, if it works GREAT, IF It is not producing, they continue to force their plan and ride it to the end. Look what happened with Michigan . I am hoping for a balanced attack, and a plan that makes changes as necessary, and if the coaching prevails. WE WIN THE GAME. IF RYAN FREEZES UP, AND IF HE FOLLOWS A JOHN COOPER GAME PLAN...THAT WILL ALSO HAVE A RESULT.
That's just not true. That only happened against Michigan. Otherwise, Ohio State has been one of the best teams, if not the best team in the nation at making halftime adjustments and owning the 3rd quarter. They have literally dominated the 3rd quarter this year outscoring opponents 149 - 9. Yes, they have given up 3 field goals all year in the 3rd quarter.
@chrisNkyla1 My post lacks substance when applied to all games played. OSU continues to win when talent prevails, when lesser teams fail to measure the challenge, and yes it makes Ryan look better prepared, but the majority of the games that meet the narrative of your reporting, can we both agree that we had far to many horrible first half performances, and far to few total blow outs. Anybody of average coaching talent, could win games (given BUCKS talent) at the same % that Ryan has performed. But my reporting deals with (4) loses to Michigan, sitting at home for big championship games. Losing (10) big games, and wining zero National Championships. And yes Ryan seemingly makes 3rd quarter changes after horrible starts, and manages to win against questionable and at times better teams, But where the rubber meets the road, and everything is on the line, I am referring to games that reqiure great coaching to win, and titles are on the line, Ryan does not come through. Sooo....Chris you have made a valid point on average coaching, and I will give you Tennessee, but that is not enough to validate your support for Ryan, We still have (10) games of huge importance, and Ryan continues to respond favorably when big games are on the line. In closing, Ryan Day and John Cooper, both true gentleman, also men who were protected for far to long by fans and administration, the program suffered immensely because the coaches lacked the ability to perform at the level of their talent. So Chris, you did not agree with my post, and it is fair that you called my hand on my brief and earlier summary. And now that I have revealed the full gambit, Ryan is inept when it really matters. I hope that you can say, YES YOU ARE ACCURATE, AND I AM SORRY THAT I COULD NOT SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES! HAVE A GOOD DAY THEN.
I don’t see Oregon winning I think they will lose in overtime. I’m not a osu fan but I got this feeling Oregon will lose this time around in a close game. As bad as I want to see osu lose I just don’t see Oregon winning. I really hope Oregon wins and beat that cocky team. 44 to 38 in overtime osu wins
There’s fanboys and there’s these clowns. Secret weapon? 45-24? So the Ohio States offense will go, “ who’s this Jordan Burch guy? He must be some kind of secret weapon.”
Top to bottom, Oregon is not Tennessee and this is not a home game for Ohio State, just saying…..it should still be a good game, 2 of the top three teams in the country
Not much, there was a reason, flu some say. I think he was not so needed that day and they rested him to get him better for the three final games. So watch out.
Sorry, fellas, but this video is not gonna age very well. If you take the version of Ohio State that played Michigan is what you're gonna see at the Rose Bowl, you are grossly mistaken. What did Birch do against PSU? Almost 300 yards rushing and a ton of points. Tennessee's Pierce is a better player than Birch, and he was MIA. Yeah, one thing right this game won't be close or OSU 38 Oregon 17.

Jordan is not a secret. Ohio st will be rotating guys in and out of the offensive line keeping everyone fresh. That unorthodox to do but it worked against Tennessee who also have a great Dline. If 300 pounds come at Will Howard he will just escape the pocket. Oregon D been letting every good team put up 30 pieces on them. Far as Michigan, the coaching was playing not to win and opt out of the B10 Conference Championship. Concerned that playing chess than checkers.
That whole idea that the coaches threw the Michigan game is just ludicrous. I can’t believe an adult would write such a thing but anything goes in these comments

💥💥 GO BUCKS !!! OH-
35-21 Buckeyes win
I got Oregon winning 27 - 20. I would love to see them win 27 - 17.
Damn duck fans are overly confident…it feels eerily like the lead up to the Tennessee game. Ohio state is peaking at the right time. Duck fans be careful with the over confidence
I don't think you can call 1-1 in the last two games peaking.
They are sounding a lot like the Tenn fans did pre-game.
I think this is going to be a great game.
@@HQBergeron “All the bucks can hope for…” ? Really? To put it politely, that comment is discounting a number of things.
Hahahahahahahahah glad I found this video. Can’t wait. Don’t delete
35-10 Oregon.
35-21 Buckeyes
Add up all the weapons on both teams and o line and d line. See if you can honestly see Oregon losing.
Yes
They said same thing about pierce with Tenn and wrecking OSU OL and Tenn has a similar if not better fromt 7 then Oregon, OSU also had to deal with Abdul Carter and Michigans front, Burch Isn’t anything new that they haven’t see. Before …it’s going to be a tight game
Ducks 38 Losers 31
42-14 Ohio state
Tennessee has an excellent DL and they schemed around them…..if you look at the All-22 film, OSU had numerous plays where the DL was irrelevant……a lot of moving pockets and RPOs.
Ducks 38 osu 31
In fairness to Chip, the Auburn game’s offensive miscues (at least in the first half) were kind of on Darron Thomas. According to former backup center (and current Portland attorney) Max Forer, “DT” came down with a bad case of the yips in the first half, missed a boatload of throws and a chance to blow the game wide open. In the 2nd half he settled down and set what (at the time) a National Championship game passing record (363 yards).

Ducks fan here. I have the Ducks winning but definitely not gonna be a run away against the best defense in the nation. Go Ducks 🦆
The “hard to beat a team twice” narrative is so dumb. It happens a lot. Georgia this season has already beat texas twice.
Not to be snarky, but one instance this season where Georgia beat Texas twice, does not qualify as a lot anywhere in the known universe, or even America.
These guys don't understand a rivalry game. You throw that out
Unfortunately they threw it out BEFORE kickoff!
@Jleed989 osu beat Michigan 8 years in a row. With Michigan having better records and teams
Go buckeyes
Ducks are healthy this time
If the Ducks lose I want ya’ll to keep the same energy. I will check back Wednesday night. Good luck.
WTF are you talkin about? Things went bad in happy valley, and we won convincingly. Things went bad in plenty of games. Fanboys
The Oregon fans starting to talk like Tennessee was
Only they can back it up
We'll see won't we?
Oregon 45 Ohio State 28
I’m a Buckeye Fan.
Revenge game on a neutral field with just as many Buckeye fans if not more than Oregon fans.... OSU has some get back to get!
Oregon sold out there allotment in just a few hours before Ohio State even played Tennessee there will not be more Ohio State fans than Oregon

Ducks by 1, 36-35
The question still stands who did they play during the season… answer no one…Oregon when they meet the Dawgs will go down in flames…
Georgia isnt going to make it out against ND & Penn State
@@That_Team_Out_West again who did ND or Penn St beat that was notible…none of these teams have a good solid win behind them… Atleast the Dawgs played and defeated ranked Clemson, Bama, Tennessee, and Texas twice… I am not even a Dawg’s fan but my bet is the Dawgs will be in the finals
@@williamchastain2507 im unimpressed with Georgia. The entire SEC was riding the conference name. Texas is meh. Bama lost to OU and Vandy 😂 Tennessee got taken out to the woodshed in Columbus. Clemson? Really 😂😂😂 4 loss Clemson...
@@That_Team_Out_West at the beginning of the season Clemson was ranked 14th in the nation , only lost to Ga, then Louisville, then SC, backed into the CFP and then lost to Tex
@@williamchastain2507 OK but that only further proves my point that Clemson is not a good team.
So based on an edge rusher coming back who is playing lights out, he believes it will be a 45-24 Ducks win? The game will be closer than that.
Burch hasn’t been the same since his injury. Yes he was a beast earlier in the season. Since coming back he’s been decent. Not great. Definitely not a secret weapon
I agree, hopefully he’s healed up totally. He was playing extremely well before his injury.
We hear he had the flu
Burch will be fine and his usual self. Watch. Game changer.
Did Jordan Burch play against Penn State?...
@@KINGJAMES2NYC Did the whole entire Ohio State team play against Michigan?…
@5ivebanger they showed up lol
@5ivebanger yep they'll be in Pasadena too
Bring him on guys. Did you see the Tennessee game?😊
Oregon was home..... neutral site this time that's the big difference
35-27 ducks!
The question: Is he 100%? If he can be explosive that would be huge. Ankle injuries are typically not a huge deal. Knee injuries are a different beast.
He is.
@chrisNkyla1
My post lacks substance when applied to all games played.
Good luck
I don’t see Oregon winning I think they will lose in overtime. I’m not a osu fan but I got this feeling Oregon will lose this time around in a close game. As bad as I want to see osu lose I just don’t see Oregon winning. I really hope Oregon wins and beat that cocky team. 44 to 38 in overtime osu wins
Did Boise State have to deal with Burch?
45-24 Ducks
Ducks going down !
There’s fanboys and there’s these clowns. Secret weapon? 45-24? So the Ohio States offense will go, “ who’s this Jordan Burch guy? He must be some kind of secret weapon.”
What's that another uniform
Oregon beat Ohio, afterward duck evolved to beat Michigan, Ohio regressed to lose to Michigan. Now hands down Oregon is the better team.
Ohio state wins keeps their record against oregon perfect in bowl games.
Top to bottom, Oregon is not Tennessee and this is not a home game for Ohio State, just saying…..it should still be a good game, 2 of the top three teams in the country
42-21 Ducks
Did Burch not play against Penn State?
He plaid a little bit had the flu
Not much, there was a reason, flu some say. I think he was not so needed that day and they rested him to get him better for the three final games. So watch out.
Sorry, fellas, but this video is not gonna age very well. If you take the version of Ohio State that played Michigan is what you're gonna see at the Rose Bowl, you are grossly mistaken. What did Birch do against PSU? Almost 300 yards rushing and a ton of points. Tennessee's Pierce is a better player than Birch, and he was MIA. Yeah, one thing right this game won't be close or OSU 38 Oregon 17.
Birch barely played had the flu and best interior dlineman Caldwell got hurt did not return in 1st quarter ducks are healthy this time
I think Ohio state is going to go duck hunting in Oregon seasons going to come to an end the first of the year. Let's go buckeyes let's go
Ducks healthy this time and I don't think the officials will gift Ohio State 7 pts like the did first drive of game
@James-f2m1y the ducks will be hunted
put in your calculations that Ohio States #7 will hold and cost Oregon two touchdowns. May get a flag, but stealing points.
put in your calculations that JJ will be held all game and OSU will not have 10 false starts and Oregon will only be able to use 11 players.
@@samwalsh2494What you talking about Ohio State was gifted 7 points on opening drive by missed interception on first drive so get out of hear with your poor officiating garbage
Factor in Smith pushing off at least twice and getting away with it
Secret? lol
Oregon rotates it's dline all season so that means nothing to the ducks
That whole idea that the coaches threw the Michigan game is just ludicrous. I can’t believe an adult would write such a thing but anything goes in these comments
You are delusional! Lose because you want to? What a joke!
Haha! Sure, Day played to LOSE the one game that decides if he has a job next year! OMG that is a feeble excuse.
You are Blind!
Ohio state - 38, Oregon - 27. Refs won't bail you out this time.
This will be a low scoring affair and a battle of the defenses with a few big plays. 21-17 Buckeyes.
It's not going to be low scoring, you're trippin cuz..
🥱
Probably another win for the ducks? They could lose? Pretty confident for a team that won by 1 point at their place. I hope the guys actually playing for the ducks are as overconfident as you two homers….. 45-24 Ducks 😂😂😂😂😂 where was Burch when Penn State was rushing for 300 yards. You guys are also forgetting Ohio state statistically has the number 1 defense in the country..
You seriously think you'll hold our offense to 24 points? Wishful thinking bro.. I'll bet you (just for kicks- no $) we score at least 38
@ maybe, but the bucks will score more.
Burch was puking on sideine and our run stuffer got hurt in first quarter and officials hopefully won't hand Ohio State 7 points like the did on opening drive last game missed int call 7 point swing possibly 14 if they make call correctly and Oregon scores
Yeah, winning shouldn’t inspire any confidence 😅😅
Oregon wins 33-30 🟡🟢🌹
Though I wouldnt be shocked if its a 3 point win for the Buckeyes.
I got one problem with that Jordan Burch played against Penn State and he didn’t affect them at all
Injury recovery, flu, time change, stuck in Indiana, held all game, all of the above
