  • GIVEAWAY WINNER ANNOUNCED AT THE END!!! Whats up guys! CR250 is ALMOST street legal... Watch to see how to install a Trailtech Endurance computer and speedometer, along with some Acerbis Supermoto handguards.
    Made a carb change and the bike rides even better now. Also I set the suspension up and it is getting better also. The bike will get a headlight and tail light in the next build video, then it will be ready for some plates! Graphics will be the last detail.
    Thanks always for the comments, advice, suggestions it all helps me so much. CR250 supermoto was definitely a crazy idea and it's even crazier come to life...

    Dont engine brake pull in the clutch when u let off

      it doesnt matter if you dont really engine brake w rev match etc... the oil membrane stays between sylinder and piston for pretty long time

    That happened with my cr 125 and I put a jet kit in it and it fixed it it had to big jets so it floods it out

    Dude u should not engine brake 2 stroke, always when u r not on gas put clutch in. Because crankshadt and piston don`t get enough lubrication. Engine lasts longer and does not blow up that easy, when u do not engine brake. But nice project! Sry for bad english. And n

      I have never heard about this, Just looked it up... I had no idea that engine breaking was bad for a 2 stroke! Didn't understand why people were commenting in the last CR video about that so thanks for explaining! I've been riding a 4 stroke for too long engine breaking is now a bad habit but I will pull the clutch and blip the throttle from now on.

    Hey! You can run all the LEDs, turn signals etc off the stator for power. The relays and etc will all be such a low draw that the stock AC from the bike will be plenty

    For the oil coming out id say welcome to the 2strokes world, i had a tm250 sm and i was always covered in oil, the only solution was going full throttle and burn all

    Use red rtv silicone on the pipe connection and use it on the exhaust flange

    Not bad. Bike sounds like it's running great. Btw your shifting too soon quite a bit while riding. And engine breaking is not as big a deal as people make it seem. I wouldn't do it from a high rpm but at lower ones your fine.

    For 12V You tap into the cables for the rectifier, it's a sort of round tube, usually next to the cdi, I'll have a look at my manual after and let you know which cables

      Ok please let me know! As of now I'm going to hook up a 9v battery to run the backlight. And then I could do something more permanent later.

      In the plug there should be 4 wires, 2 yellow, a red wire and a green wire
      The red is 12V+ and the green is Ground

    I would just get a small lithium battery pack and put it under the seat. You have to charge it when your not riding, but its easier than doing a stater swap

    For that taillight you can get some 3m double sided tape I used it for the tailgate mat on my truck and it sticks like I screwed it in!! I have never had a problem with it coming off and it has been on for 2 years!!

    You need to get that s 7 nozzle. Watch my video on the TMX carb I want you to buy that needle to. It will give you way more throttle response.

      250race thanks man, since I already ordered the s-8 I will test that first. Then switch to a-7 see which was better. I don’t know which needle you are using?

      Did you watch the video on the tmx 38mm?
      I give two needles numbers what it is it's a taper needle. The needle is actually longer then the needle you have. And I run the 82 and don't mess with that number a nozzle it's not even worth messing with just go straight to the seven. I've already done it.
      If you want the part number on the needle I have you'll have to wait till I get home later on today

    Awesome video!😄 I’m working on a street legal pit bike build, and have the same problem with the taillight(I wanted to buy the exact same one lol) but don’t know yet how I’m going to mount it, since I also don’t want to drill holes in the white plastic.Also I wanted to buy a light bar for it and all that stuff to make it street legal again:)

    Most fenders are made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), which is notorious for not bonding with glue/epoxy. It is do-able, but you have to make sure your prep is VERY good and that you have a lot of bonding surface. I know it sucks, but bolting the tail light is really your best option.

    Look into that stuff called, tough as nails. Pretty sure it will bond plastic.

    Should have put the speedometer sensor on the back wheel, cause we all know eventually that front wheel will be up in the air and you won't know your speed 😂

    you can glue that taillight on the fender with some industrial glue ;-) and you are missing the rubber for the throttle assembly :-) but its a cool bike just missing a to stoked sticker

      i cant say what glue you can use as im in denmark and i dont know what you have available there in Mexico
      but you should look for something a plumber or a contractor would use to bind things together
      they use many different glues in constructions that you can use !!

      I have done a bunch of tuning to the shock and forks to make them stiffer for supermoto. I will definitely be making a video on what changes I made, but everything was done by me.

    You could use white Nylon bolts, countersunk into mudguard to mount back light, wouldn't even see them until you were very close

      The whole tire needs to be broken in so you should take angle progressively for a few kilometres

    YOU WILL MELT THE PISTON, DONT USE ENGINE TO BRAKING, use brakes....why? ...2 strokes dont lubricate with the carb closed...no gas no oil= ringstoshit
