From the earliest pioneers, to cattle trails, and development of the interstate highway systems, many things have shaped the livestock industry in the United States.
The Livestock Marketing Association (LMA), headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas was founded in 1947, the association just like the industry has and continues to evolve to meet the changing demands of the livestock industry.
Featuring former LMA Region Executive Officer Jim Carter, Charlie Angell who operated the Columbia Livestock Auction, in Columbia, Missouri and Jim Schaben Jr. of Dunlap Livestock Auction in Dunlap, Iowa.
