- It's finally time, Gambit is here! My all time favourite Marvel character has finally hit the stage after a second attempt at him, this time by CaliKingz. Many people might remember seeing a Gambit in the works some time ago, which was by Malamander (creator of Bison/Urien) but due to life, was never finished. Cali's creativity started flowing however, and put together his own take on the character and GODDAMN it looks good. It was pleasure to have the opportunity to beta test this.

Another fan favourite (definitely mine!) of the Marvel roster is finally in. You may have seen a trailer a little over a year ago for Gambit during the release of Urien by Malamander, but this version is made by CaliKingz with Mal's blessing, as life has Malamander occupied. Gambit arrives with Cali's supreme visual polish while retaining his familiar moves, albeit with some slight changes to UMvC3-ify him. I'm glad he's here and have had a blast testing him, now give him a try!
MY BOY!!! This has become the new MvC2 of this gen. I hope for Rogue soon!
Dude… nothing will be mvc2. No fighting game has been at evo main stage longer than mvc2 and ssb melee.
@@rubenmartinez6541 I was speaking figuratively. Obviously another game can't be a game that came before it. I was just referring to the roster of umvc3 growing with more and more characters from mvc2. Don't take everything so literal lol

OMG this wonderful!! And they remixed his theme music and it sounds great!!
The only flaw I see is that during the Royal Flush pose his other hand is missing cards. I assume that's an easy fix though

Just needs speed lines when he's doing the Cajun strikes.
And some indicator to differentiate between doing normal jumps and the command jump. Probably some speed lines or smoke effects?
And the final explosion of the Royal fast needs to be bigger and more explode-y.
These are polish stuffs, because the base animations are just chef's kiss.
I loved the last combo with the servbot thc keep up the great work! Lets continue to keep marvel content alive!

GAMBIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The MVC2 glitch callback lol. I can't wait for the day the modders break the roster limitation. Also has any modder made or working to make a hitbox viewer? It was only on the PSP Vita replays.
The hitbox viewer is being worked on, but the creator is doing multiple things so hasn't been an update in a bit. It will happen eventually!

I *think*, however, they might be slightly outdated already? Check the latest version of Gambit, some of his moves seem slowed down from these combos.
Cali did mention he made some changes but didn't say what they were, if it's different enough I'd try for a part 2 but I think it was mostly hitbox adjustments.

The fact that this mod is much more better done than the actual stuff in the game makes you want to think about the decline of the game. Good stuff ❤

Mvci mods PLEASE !!!!! That combo system has so much potential
It's a different engine, so different people with that skillset would be the ones to do it. I don't believe I've seen any moveset mods for that game and know nothing of it myself, so I can't say whether it's possible or not at the moment.

Guile is there! Colossus is a popular character so I imagine he'll be done one day.
@@glass4624 i thankfully saw the guile video and the charlie video (another one i didnt know i needed until i saw him) and its incredible. i do hope youre right on colossus. if he gets added, i want to talk to a friend of mine who runs tournaments in my area and see about getting this version of marvel 3 as a tourney game.
This mod is great (a little cheesy with the level 3, could have been better) but nevertheless, still great.

You need to download the tournament edition version of the mod that has 7 colours for each character, go to Tabs' Twitter to find the download.

I really need to build a PC and this is the reason why! The sequel to this game looked garbage. I would have paid the DLC for this. I swear sometimes game developers don't even listen to the fans. That or some license B.S.
