Hi, the video was made by Mind.Sight.Studios, so I'm not sure exactly how they made it. But I think they just downloaded a 3D model of a mountain online somewhere. Looks like it'd 3dscanned.
@@ArchitectureInspirations thank you so much, bro! A last question. I really want to purchase transmutr. I have been looking in their official page. It costs $56. Is it a year license? They don't specific that anywhere.
@Cheriyan John no you don't need simlab lol. You can go from max to obj or fbx then to transmutr/skimp. Autodesk don't let people freely use .max formats in their software lol 🤣
Oh forgot to answer! In another comment I answered the same question. Transmutr is better if you use rendering software. Skimp is better if you want to optimize existing geometry that's already in the model😊
TIG Importer, but it has way less features. Actually I'd recommend transmutr over Skimp, since it has a lot of more features, works well with Skatter and is a bit cheaper. :)
Hey guys! Here is the download link for Skimp. 😄 bit.ly/skimp3d
I think this should be an SketchUp feature
Agreed!
Very useful video, as always, but I have another question, how did you create that mountain model? Do you use placemaker?

Oh sorry, I've had the sub on. But thank you anyway for sharing the content! 😉
Oh Haha no problem!😊
Nice video, thanks. Wich one is better for you this one or transmutr?
Transmutr is great if you use render programs. This one is great if you want to reduce polygons of existing models inside of sketchup

Both cannot import .max file. for that you need Simlab Sketchup exporter for 3ds Max.

I have a doubt
How to use 3ds max vray files in sketchup vray
With texture
Any solution
Yes. You can use Transmutr. I also created a video for it
After skimped, the file became larger!
omg 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What is the license key of skimp
You gotta buy it buddy
Any free software/plugin for import high poly models from max/obj/fbx?
Hm not really. Only transmutr, skimp, and simlab plugin for 3ds, none are free
P.con Planner is free and allows you to export/change the file format of any model... But, It doesn't import directly in skp, sorry
Any idea for free addon for Blender ?
Hm sorry don't really use blender so I'm not sure
