Always amazes me to see just how curved the platforms are there (and Newcastle Central). When a lot of engineering was going on the stabled Network Rail departmental trains were great (just opposite the building that looks like its got slides on it). Saw 37s, 66s, 67s, one of the DMUs - loads of different paint-schemes on them all too incl. the Class 37 painted up like a British Railways locomotive with "Cycling Unicorn" on it. Best thing I've seen at BTM was a pair of Class 20s in their vintage livery plus a Class 56 on heritage haulage.
Hi I really appreciate how much effort you put into these videos thanks for all the great things I've seen from you and also keep up the good work we really like how much effort you put in your videos❤️
That 166 with the red nameplate/sticker at the start was Norman Topsom MBE. Nice building with the similar look to London NorthWestern Railway there it must be said! Always good to see the castle HST's running around, of those of which should now be classed as 225 services rather than high speed. The Cross Country HST's were effectively operating on the other side of the engineering works that were between Cheltenham and Gloucester. I was at Nottingham on the same day and I did see a couple of Voyagers in the forms of 220029 and 220030. I think both were swapped for 170's whilst one had taken over from a pairing of 170's. I do see Cardiff Central is next, so I think we'd better be prepared for Tornado's attempts at Welsh pronunciations!
Its not bad but its a bit generic at times - GWR ICE's, XC Voyagers and some GWR DMU services e.g. Networkers. One sees a few cargo trains though I have to say and if you're lucky one of the nuclear flask trains going to Hinckley.
Lovely stuff you had in the Westcountry. If you ventured further along the line, you could have been offered a jug of cider and a Cornish Pasty and a drink with the Wurzels. Ooooaaaahhhh!!!! Bristol Temple Meads is good but its lacking in terms of the Sprinter variety like: 150's & 153's. Also, an end of an era for South Western Railway that used to run between Bristol Temple Meads and London Waterloo. Nevertheless, epic film and looking forward to Cardiff :-)
Another awesome video. Well done to the driver allowing the young man to look inside the cab a kind gesture. Just as a matter of interest who do you write to about the wind?? Just so I know when we next want to spread some fertilizer on the farm and it's windy I can write to them the day before lol. Obviously the bumble Bee isn't a train fan. As ever appreciate you taking your time to make these videos for us. Take care 👍
I think 180110 for East Midlands Railway is to stay as a four car unit for the foreseeable future as the buffet car has corrosion which is considered to be beyond repair from what I've been seeing or hearing.
If only London Northwestern Railway were operating at Bristol Temple Meads given that lookalike building! I think we better put in a request for them! 😂 I sadly missed a test train with an HST at Nottingham last week but I'm still happy with the content that I managed to produce! I think like Bristol Temple Meads here with this content being good too, we can both count us as winners!
a great video there i just want to say incase i have not said yet that i play a train sim on a game called roblox and the train sim is called stepford county railway so can you please maybe try it out. Anyway i love you and ill see you soon

Congrats on 11k subs and video 899!
Well maybe if you do film Cardiff Central? You may see the 387's electro stars in Cardiff itself?
Great video
Another great video. Thank you. I was rather hoping to see one or two of the hybrid 158s, those sets with three DMSLs, on the Portsmouth Harbour run.
