    Maybe this is common knowledge by now but... When doing a dash attack and then aiming, Samus does a pose where her leg is kicked out. if you do this against a wall then her foot will clip into the wall. If you charge up a shot and then morphball to fire, the shot will come out of samus's foot instead of her blaster. You can use this method to hit the blob at 0:25 pretty easily. Though you might need wide beam to pull it off I haven't checked if it works with the single shot.

      Tried this multiple times. Does not work at all. Shot doesn't even come out of Samus Aran's foot like you said.

    The channel "Hardpelicn" has made a video guide to do a seemingly "consistent" setup for the slide-pseudo-wave shot. He uses it to get the Phantom Cloak early, but it should work the same way for the speed booster sequence break too (maybe).

    For the pseudo wave at around 0:25, I couldn't get the ceiling clip to work but I was able to do it with a wall slide pseudo wave and aiming up instead of through the wall. It seems to be just as stupid and hard. Seems very not worth it without diffusion.

    0:15 so with the pause buffer method, I can only get it to go through if the joystick is high enough to start scrolling, but at that height it misses

    I've noticed that you hit ZL at the edge of the stairs, jump when the lead foot is just before touching the black on the ground texture and shoot when you get back to the edge of the stairs. I am extremely inconsistent, but when I *do* manage to hit it, I'm mantra-ing in my mind, "stairs, foot, stairs" waving my hand in a triangle at the screen as I psyche myself up for a dozen attempts, then pause to mantra and go again. It's 20% effective, I dunno If i'm just seeing a *near* cue that helps me. I hope someone can figure out a free way to setup and get this.

    For those having a hard time with the blob pseudo shot "bullshit" section, there is a much easier and consistent set up. You running parry into the corner of the wall so you get the crouched/lunge stance, charge a shot, aim up and ever so slightly to the left of the blob, then morph, which releases the shot vertically. It works nearly every time. There is a video of it floating somewhere around TH-cam.

    I can't seem to get the first pseudo wave at all? I got it once, but the angle was off(missed the puff) and I've probably been at it for an hour straight.

    I got a power bomb item early because of this however when acquired it states, “An unknown resource has been acquired. You cannot use this item yet” devs really did there homework

      imagine complimenting that. A: EVERY powerbomb says that, and they purposefully made some accessible before power bombs, B: that just goes to show how dead set against sequence breaking they are.
      What next, are you going to praise the fact that the game spams you with absolute one ways every 5 steps (the ones where you absolutely cannot get back through without either doing what the game wants or finding a glitch, as opposed to softer one ways like the pit in lower brinstar, where if you do not have the skills to infinite bomb jump or one sided wall jump, you're not getting out without ice beam), or the fact that they made hot and cold rooms do ABSURD amounts of damage as a direct "fuck you" to anyone wanting to skip through them?

      Yeah, I remember in Super Metroid, it let you use them after acquiring an expansion upgrade. They were seldom to come by (in comparison to missiles), and hard to find, so it was pretty sweet that they gave it to you.
      In dread, that’s evidently not the case lol
      But I totally agree with their choice. After a solid play through, I find it’s safe to say they’re pretty op, and would hurt the flow of progression if they were just handed to you from getting a pb expansion. They’re pretty easy to come by/ not elaborately hidden, destroy most block types, and insta-kill almost all non-boss enemies.
      Definitely a late game item, like it should be.
      Power bombs are basically mini nukes- it makes sense they would gate it for the end/clean up section of the game

      @@bastian_5975 as it stands, a little more than a month after it’s release, you can beat this 10-15 hour AAA game, that’s been literal years in the making, under an hour and a half.
      What more do you want? 😂
      Yeah, Super can be beaten in 25ish mins, but it’s been out since the 90’s. And was only 85 or so megabytes big. There’s no comparison.
      Go make your own metroidvania if it bothers your entitled ass that much.

    "Do this bullshit" lmfao god I hate psuedowave. I can't even do it for early cloak either. I came hoping for a different way to the lower Burenia tram back to Dairon but as expected you need to get through that stupid sac.

      I guess you got it, but its Dairon, to the right of the leftmost yellow save room with the 2 morph ball launchers, going into EMMI zone.
