I wish I could have a loop of JUST the Burenia theme with that gentle rain. There's a video of Burenia's outside atmosphere, but the rain is WAY too loud on it.
Great game - takes me back to the original but gets to a show stopper point on the Nintendo Switch where I need the Walkthrough before I pick it up again.... great music
I know I may be a slight outlier but I personally would, if forced, choose Metroid Prime 3 as my favorite. I think it's interesting how the story goes, and how seemingly a lot more is at stake, the final push at the end of the game shows just how far the character has really came, it's a great game for reflection. I understand why people more used to the older games might dislike some parts of it, though the Prime trilogy as a whole all are excellent games each with their own unique merits. I'm afraid of Metroid Prime 4 though honestly, I have doubts it will live up to the legacy the trilogy gave us as many recent series reboots have failed.
Was just listening to this again today, and it seems a portion of the video has been muted, between 58:18 and 58:52, with a couple spots where the sound flickers on and off. Seems odd - I don't recall it having done that before.
who else here is as pissed as I am that they released prime 1 on its own for full price, instead of a trilogy like mario, klonoa, spyro, and crash all did?

Burenia ambient theme is amazing, not gonna lie. unfortunately, for me it's forever gonna be associated with probably the worst shinespark puzzle in the entire game. i'm pretty sure i'm not alone in that opinion.
Metroid soundtracks almost always conveys a perfect blend of awe and unease. What you would expect on an alien planet. I love it so much ❤
Man is my hero he made Torvus Bog Subterranean 4 minutes while most other tracks are 2.5 minutes
