11 or so years before this video, I was still playing Re-Volt from time to time and was so happy that the game still had support (I remember being a noob and downloading all kinds of cars and tracks). A bit more recent, let's say 2013 or 2014, my friends and I downloaded the game and played it via RV-House. The fact that now, 7 years later, the game is not only still playable but has by and large officially become the best it has ever been in literally all facets - is mind-blowing. Sometimes nice things do happen... I'm blown away that the game still has so much support. Just the fact that RVGL exists, in order to preserve the game, is amazing; the fact that it has all these QoL updates and fixes is just... Wow! Thanks for this informative video!
My first racing game on PC in 2003, it was already installed on my new PC back then. Today, two years back I started another hobby - RC cars ......God!!!! Amazing🙏😏👍👍👍👍😍😻 Llllooooovvveeeee iiiittttt so much 🤭😂🤗 Thanks a lot!!!
Man, i remember back in 2003 an 2004, i used to go to my cousin's house, because he was the only one with a PC, and spend the whole day just playing this game with him. This game brings back so many memories, and feelings of nostalgia. I am definitely going to get the Rvgl edition. Revolt, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 64, Super Contra, Road Rash, Road Fighter, Prince of Persia, Street Fighter, these were some of the best games from my childhood. Of course, Revolt sits at top of the list, it was just that good. Thanks to all the developers for keeping this game alive, and brining back all my childhood memories.
Do you remember a game that was similar to re-volt? You were on the arena map, you had picked up different attachments to your car, and it was total destruction.
I can't clasify Re-Volt as my chillhood because i've never owned the Disc of it but, a friend introduced me that game many years ago to also play online using GameRanger (No one uses it now) Now, going back to the game, but seeing the 1.2 patch was gone now but revived as RVGL, it was worth it comming back to this game with RVGL. Seeing that it now haves the launcher and no longer need the necesary files and that, the launcher can still download them without any ISO or something. Im happy to see that even till this day, they are still making custom content for Re-Volt as well keeping things updated.
I played the Android version and I loved it so much. I stopped playing it for a long time because it got me bored and then out of nowhere I see a video of ReVolt modded on youtube and I was like: "I need this now" so I have it now with like 30 custom cars and 20 custom tracks, it is awesome and neverending happiness :D
I picked up a Scholastic Software Club copy of Re-Volt a while back. I was pleasantly surprised that it's RTR right off the disc. I'm running Windows 10 with a modern (well, modern-ish; it's a 4GB RX 560) graphics card. That being said, however, it's nice to have some modern conveniences for the game.
Re-Volt is my jam! I play it regularly, but I think there may be another game by Acclaim that needs saving: Extreme-G 2. Yeah, it's not as popular and it's arguably not as good as Re-Volt, but I still love it and I'm sad that the port available on Steam is so piss poor.
It's a solid remaster, but I wish they could of done so much more to the gameplay than just make the A.I. more aggressive. I would've really appreciated them tightening up the controls and provide better options for difficulty other than collision and car physics and an easy difficulty where cars drive too slow to work on certain tracks.
If it was up to me, I would have the physics and A.I difficulty as their own separate options. For skill difficulty options, I would have: Junior: The same difficulty as the Junior physics. Rookie: An easier difficulty for the lesser experienced Amateur: The original game difficulty Pro: The RVGL difficulty Expert: For the veteran players. For physics, I would have. Junior: Slow and easy. Modern: Physics of a modern arcade racer Classic: Physics that resemble the original console setting. Arcade: Physics based on the original arcade setting. Simulation: Realistic RC physics Simulation Pro: Simulated physics reminiscent of the original simulation setting. And lastly, the vehicles would be separated into different classes rather than difficulty. However, they can still have differences in difficulty if you go for a higher skill and/or physics setting. Amateur would have the same physics settings as the original game, with modern being a proper balance between Junior and Console (Classic), Rookie would have more balanced physics options, sort of like the Dreamcast version, and so on.

Still playing Re-Volt and even RVGL nowadays! Re-Volt is the best RC racing simulator ever made by Acclaim!

Re-Volt is back on GOG and Steam now, but the new version of it on those two stores doesn't come with RVGL by default.
Thanks! The second link works. And the game also works on Windows 10. I hope it will be available on Steam this game the Re-volt. I shared this video.
What custom content was used in this video, I'd like to find that mario and jungle track?
Oh, I thought this was Revolt the third person multiplayer shooter.
-Nvm it's actually called MicroVolts.
Bruh😂😂😂
This Is Good News! I Wonder If It'll Happen For Original Carmageddon & Interstate '76? Thank You.
I wish someone would bring back BATTLE TANX for N64 and PS1 from the good old 3DO. Also Army men games like Air Attack
