- When you think of the AWP in CS:GO, chances are a few names come to mind.
There’s the cheery, rosy-cheeked chosen one, ZywOo, the ever-iconic AWP Magician, kennyS, the most decorated wielder of the big green to-date, Big Daddy dev1ce, and the record-breaking GOAT who makes everything look so s1mple.
But when it comes to what is widely regarded as the single crispiest, craziest AWP clinic ever administered on the big stage, it's not any of the usual suspects who can claim ownership.
It’s actually this guy : Noah “Nifty” Francis. A lesser known highlight machine, who wrote his name into CS:GO history by dropping more than fifty frags over the course of a single map at IEM Sydney 2018.

@@bartterp88 I’m not even messing going pro on cs is all about mental, I noticed from my own performance. Sometimes when everything clicks the game literaly moves in slow motion, this is how I think it is for most pros. It’s insane how powerful the human brain is.
@@edddie7563 i agree with that. It just, when i got in the "mood" , it reallyyy is making me a good player on that game. But thats the problem, I can't always made myself in that "mood" . I guess that's what pro player good at, conditioning itself into the "mood"

Was lucky enough to be in the crowd for this event and every IEM Sydney that took place. This performance for this team in front of this crowd was just perfect. I screamed and cheered so much during this match that my voice was mostly gone the next day. It was the most fun I've had watching CSGO to this day. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi OI!
Me too man, this game was off the chain... It was so sad that RNG didn't win this particular game. My personal highlight from the weekend EASY...

Device mastered the AWP. He studied heatmaps of enemy AWPers before matches to maximize winning opening duels. The man was on another level.
this is the true meaning of a life game, below 10 frags on the first half and putting up 51 is absolutely insane
“Let’s see some more magic my friend with that AWP” - this sentence and position is in my head every time I play Inferno. If friends ask me, this is always my favorite play (which I saw myself) of all time. Pls don’t hate me for all the other insane plays but that positioning + his confidence is something else for me

12:22 legends say nifty went to train before the match so he could perform a ritual, whispers say the ritual is done by B-hoping from ivy, out middle through connector. if done correctly you may be blessed by the speed demon.

I respect the big names as much as the next but just no, when they drop "54" in a game it's across 2 maps. This kid did 51 in a single map. Literally unheard of.

@@mohdlqhwan3014 no, but that's the point, the original commenter said they play like this every game. I'm saying they don't - no one does, 50 on a single map is ludicrous and doesn't happen. He was also fairly consistently strong to be fair to him but obviously no one is this good most games or hell even any games

Used to play COD4 with nifty in 2008 when he was like 10-11 years old, knew his brother personally. Never imagined that he'd become the player he did.

I was following his career since i also went to CS from CoD. And from interviews he gave he basically needs to IGL and awp, he doesn't want to just awp. Which is probably the biggest thing limiting him. Also Selfless was a really significant team because they made it to ESEA pro league which rarely happens due to how hard move ups and downs are. And finally that envyus roster was a whole mess the team comp was never there for example at one point they had Nifty (awp/igl), karrigan (igl/2nd awp), JDM (awp) and some other people that didn't make sense... I think the ORGs strategy at the time was just pick up all the best free agents and try to put a good team together, and sell the players contracts that don't fit. But it didn't work they never had a good team composition.

I was able to watch this game live online and Nifty was really on fire on the second half onwards of their second map 🔥 I believe I had to stay awake to see the end of the second map at least because it was already past midnight iirc. Was on PST
This was right after I stopped playing CS, sold most of my inventory, and stopped doing, watching, reading anything CS related. This was cool
He should have been twitcher, and most probably became more popular than shroud. Nifty is so humble and smart! Its very pleasant to hear his voice!
One of the most underrated and probably my favourite awper of all time
He isn't underrated, the dude was inconsistent as hell. I always hoped he would get a spot on liquid or c9, Renegades Nifty was good and should have gotten a chance in a good team, but Envy Nifty sucks, just like his team. Also eventhough I was a Nifty fan I have to admit that Renegades best time was after Nifty left.
This is one of those performances that streets don’t forget
