What's also great about this video is you can turn it into a single overarching breakup story in numerical order so you don't get the rhythms mixed up with each other. i.e. First Taylor and her boyfriend have some distance; then the distance increases and they break up; then they get back together but she suddenly dumps him again; then it's on-off; and finally they break up for real and live separate lives. Such a great video!
Zach you have no idea how many times I've shown this video to my students! This breaks heart blocks down so simply and beautifully, and my students absolutely love it! I've been playing it for my ECG/ACLS students for almost two years! Kudos on this!
I have 3rd degree AV block.....................................I now have a pacemaker after several cardiac arrests and trying to convince cardiologists that something was very wrong. I got my pacer at 24, they kept telling me nothing was wrong regardless of the extreme fatigue, multiple fainting episodes...........and several "normal" 24 hour telemetry reads. After 3 major cardiac arrests and a code lasting over 25 minutes, they finally decided that something was indeed wrong. Great way to explain the different heart blocks! I love this video, it makes these heart conditions very easy to understand.
I am a flight doctor and I deal with ECGs every single day but this way of explaining and interpreting is the best actually. Keep it up I really enjoyed watching every single second thanks for the great work guys.
I've been showing this video to my nursing and allied health students for 3 years now, it helps simplify heart blocks for them in the best way! This is FABULOUS and I commend you for it! Nice work!
I actually had my pathophysiology exam a couple of weeks ago and I was asked to describe 3 different ECGs. One of them was 2nd degree AV block type I Mobitz and thanks to this amazing video, it was a piece of cake for me! Keep it up man! Your videos are amazing :D
I have to take my RN licensure exam in a few weeks, & this helped me so much! I could never quite grasp the heart block topic. This makes it so much easier! Thank you :)
You are the best teacher ever! Anyone can absorb your content with ease. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and educate other. You are a blessing.
very clear video as always! just a slight addition, the PR interval is measured from the beginning of the P wave to the start of the QRS complex (not to the R wave) despite its confusing name!
why doesnt anyone ever cover sa block? everytime i look all i see is explanation for av block. why isnt sa block never mentioned or explained anywhere? i dont get it at all.
