One of best lessons I learned from Lexus school dealer training was never trust a previous diagnosis if still wasn't fixed. Start over and follow your process.
Diagnostic process is a must. I see techs getting themselves in all kinds of trouble by going off in all directions because they don’t have a set in stone process. Great video brother.
This can never be stressed enough! Great video Brandon, always interesting to hear another tech's diagnostic process and perspective on how to handle a problem.
do most shops have a set minimum diag fee. the scope testing is new to me only started 4months ago big learning curve. what hurts me is there are only 2 other scope users in my area and only one of them is the type to help others. what you do helps me so much all you guys on youtube have been my school so far im in southeast alabama and have a one man shop
Every quality shop should have a minimum diagnostic charge. This charge is typically higher than your standard hourly charge. Shoot me a message on Facebook @jarheaddiagnostics. I can get you in to a group that is dedicated to shop owners.

Great stuff! Every time I skip something in my own process, I end up wasting time
Same here! I keep mine printed in my clipboard. So when I skip a step I can be like “look stupid, you missed a step”. 😂
"Elevate our industry" Absolutely. It's in dire need.
