Poor Hyoyeon, she's only on the chart 4 times. Yuri placed 14 times and Sooyoung placed 9 times. Those 3 never get enough lines and they are all so talented.
epkbutle - they talented but they're under SM.. The most strict entertainment company in SK. SM will ALWAYS give most of line to The Vocalist of the group because singing is not just sing for fun. Who sing the most must be good vocal technique. And when SNSD did a dance break ,, The Dancer of the group will leads The Vocalist. That's fair enough. How about The dancer got spotlight for singing also for dancing??? That's Really Unfair for the vocalist. If you want to said at least give the dancer chance to sing the most one of those SNSD songs. There has 1 or 2 songs that The Dancers dominated the song. But it's not their Main Song for every comeback except for CMIYC. SM already gave fair enough to shine every single one SNSD members. Fans just need to learn be grateful , at least your favs got spotlight when the dance break and they also got line in the song even though it so short but at least they has line.
The Young Vocalist i agree w/ you! Yuri is my bias, but i'm ok w/ her being in the middle in terms of line distribution because that's where she belong. Of course, once in a while, I wouldn't mind having her in the top 4 (same w/ Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, & Yoona).
hyo is knowing as the awesome rapper and dancer yes she may not get many lines but she has almost all dance leads and in the debut a solo dance. so yeah I don't think she is really bitter about the lines

i know this is 2 years late but lets not get it twisted. she was kicked by sm and gg, she left sm in 2015 after they tried to get her to stay as a soloist.

Jessica was the only one who could rivaled or even opaque its prominence, so Teayeon got the SM kick her out
My bias is Seohyun and I think Seohyun leaves SM is the best choice... She is not pushed by SM!!! I was so disappointed when Seohyun couldn’t show her all talents when she was in SM!!!

I know they’re the main vocalists in snsd but it’s snsd songs not the sub unit 🙄 At least Sunny or even Sooyoung/Yuri could have had more chances to appear in the top 3. Really? Im pretty sure the lines have been more even since Jess's departure. TTS still get the showy high notes and the bridges, but the distribution much more well rounded nowadays.

SicaRun - Nope,, Tiffany is totally better than Sunny now. Well, they has their big boss that control them. The big boss is the one that decide and there must be a reason why Sunny don't got line as much as Tiffany and even as much as seohyun. And this is obviously show that SM love Tiffany voice than sunny back then until now.. But now Tiffany vocal technique is better than sunny. SM still pick Tiffany as The 1st Lead Vocalist and Seohyun as 2nd Lead Vocalist.
It's super cool how it's pretty much just 1.) Taeyeon 2.) Jessica/Tiffany/Seohyun 3.) Sunny/Yuri/Yoona and mixing these all together creates the perfect mood and sound they want to achieve I've noticed they add Sunny to the mix if they want a cuter, brighter sound - also, sultry Yoona, a youthful girly vibe Yuri...she's very versatile and her voice surprisingly has weight. Her voice is great at filling out sound and blends well with everyone Tiffany for a more R&B/ballad sound Seohyun for a powerful, feminist type vibe - commanding, dramatic, feminine
Jessica always had the most lines when it comes to their ballad songs, since she sang a lot of adlibs. Admit it or not, snsd's and sjjd's ballad songs are never complete without her adlibs. Btw, shocked that she actually got the most lines in CMIYC.

This just proves how SM neglected Seohyun's vocal skills. You can say they put her in the sub-unit, but the truth was, she was never the first option at the start. However, despite that, I'm glad it happened because she gained a lot of confidence after her TTS debut. She was the 3rd Best Vocalist in the group but she never got the opportunity to show off more of her vocal skills. She was just a shadow/support behind TaeSicTiff. And only in their last album, Holiday Night, they finally give her justice (at least).

Honestly Sooyoung is by far the member that SM did the most dirty. She was part of the vocal line before Sunny join the final lineup yet not only placed less than Yuri but also Hyo and Yoona had 1st places... and she's also the only member that never was the final center on a song. But in this video, it was the song named "Talk Talk" which has the same melody as Boomerang , it is in "I got A boy" album not "Talk Talk" in "Lion Heart" album and i want to mention the former not the later. In the former，Jessica clearly got the first position, not Taeyeon
