Yes, snsd is no longer the NGG of korea, but they are still asia’s number one girl group. Though they aren’t the ‘ngg’ anymore, they are being titled as “the living legends of korean girl groups” as taken from the start of this video. Even other fandoms can’t deny that fact.

That's really not that surprising honey since they've only had 3 years since losing a member and in that 3 years they've only put out 4 singles. Of course that quantity will not compare to SEVEN years where they produced most of their songs in their repetoire. Use your brain. 7 years is greater than 3 years and so they produced more songs in those 7 years than the 3 years since 2014.

I just realized something. Snsd A.k.a Girls' Generation really loved their fans they are the one who truly captured my heart, i am a girl so i should love boygroups than GirlGroups but Snsd is something that you cant resist they are all kind,Loving and Caring they deserved what they are now, there popularity is not questionable because they truly deserved it. They loved their fans and we can see it in their eyes i also watched other GirlGroups but i didnt feel them they Lack's of Love that they should learn i cant see to their eyes the love for their fans. But Snsd is really amazing for appreciating and loved for their fans so i am lucky to be loved by Snsd and i am lucky to be a Sone.
The girls are truly thankful to their fans, because they had been through a lot of bad situations and their fans stayed with them. The girl groups these days are lacking that because they haven't experience what SNSD had been through so they're lacked in the grateful.
You should look Into Oh my Girl group.. they debuted same time as Twice and being under the lights for 5 years and when they win for the first time you can feel the LOVE for Miracle (Fans Mame)..

from very beginning, Korean made "Nation's GG" for reasons, obviously one of those reasons because undisputedly They're indeed Nation's GG(G-irls' G-eneration). The One and The Only.

Tbh, it's too early to call any group as nation's girl group already. There is still SNSD. Plus, twice is not even that talented, and their concepts and members' images are insanely recycled. JYP just basically copied the formula that made SNSD, that's it. That is why, havig twice to be deemed as the next legends makes me really disappointed because even most 3rd gen groups are carbon copies. Although, twice's popularity is insanely overrated, I still do not see them to be at that level, even if they realistically reach that level.
They compare twice on snsd for having the same amount of haters during their early years, but atleast SNSD has the talent, and music that is mainstream but isn't necessarily redundant.

I've been a sone since I'm 13 and I'm 24 now 😭 Where did the time go? I really miss them and I will never regret stanning and will always continue to stan them. Always and forever will be the best girl group there is out there. The standard every other girl group will try to emulate. Let's pray hard that someday even if there won't be an ot9 reunion, I really want an OT8 comeback reunion. 😭 I may stan other groups too now, but if soshi announces that they'll have a comeback, I'll gladly drop everything and come running for them.
