If there were no felt on the playing surface or on the cushions it might actually speed the game up because all it would take is for the first player to break, then wait around for a few minutes for all the balls to find their way into a pocket.

Thanks pal. Every video I checked out beat around the bush about rail speed. . Nothing worse than buying a pool table and the damn thing plays slow. Even with Simonis cloth on it.
I have reset a couple tables I always use new cushions on rails. I brush contact adhesive on rails. Super 77 spray is great for cloth but get over spray on cushion front tops or bottom reacts and creates hard spots on the cushions. .
Epic lie, the ball is climbing the rail from the grip of the rubber to the ball causing the ball to hop and gain speed... Even a table with dead rails will do the same with no cloth/pooltable felt on the rubber. Superspeed cushions is a trade mark of Brunswick cushions and they are ONLY k55. This guy wouldn't know a good table from a bad one even if he was sitting on it...
Looking at a cheaper table it has k66 rails but it is not slate, it has 3/8” mdf with some kind of polished resin do you have any idea how that table will play??
Sorry, wood composition does not keep the table level... These are not k66 super speed cushions... This is bull s#&+ery... Why do sales people feel the urge to lie like this. If you have a good product it will stand on its own merits. This is chicanery.
Do the rails go on the table at a certain torq?? I having trouble with the rails on my table, inconsistent play off the rails. Was thinking they were put on to tight or to loose when new cloth was put on.
Just nice and tight, not too tight. Your problems probably have more to do with a section of rubber becoming unglued and/or bad rail height from poor replacement installation (factory-installed shoud be within specs.) Also make sure your short and long rails are perpendicular.

Any bare rubber rail will have the same response.
Once you place cloth on the rail it will reduce bounce significantly, just as the slate will .
bro, you're messing up his marketing pitch.

Do you have for red label 9 foot diamond?
its always gone roll fast on slate. do same test with cloth on it.
I was wondering how the ball would react if i use a wooden slab instead of slate🙊.
@@benyamingines9846 a wooden slab no such thing
Why does this demonstration even exist? The table has no cloth on it. Every kind of rail does that without cloth at that speed...
Not mine! I hate my rails and I’m gonna get them replaced ASAP
Curious that he doesn't mention the name of the table or the cushions....
its bcoz there is no simonis felt in the table

junk.
Never get a table if it doesn't have slate. Thats the difference between a real table and a kids table.

I bet if you call you table manufacturer they would tell you for sure.
The nose is sitting too low Wich makes the ball bounce faster. If he were to roll it any harder the ball would jump
Brian Esparza how old are your cushions
youidoit
every table will do the without cloth
WTF? No cloth.
Judd trump would play 19 cushion shot to get on the yellow on this table LOL
