This is the best kind of ASMR, because it IS real, honestly this works so much more for me with the background hum of lights and stuff, and his calm chatty professional conversation, the intentional whispering in vids that mimic appointments gets a bit annoying and excessive. And this is relatable too, being a glasses and contact lens wearer.
I personally find it interesting how each optometrist does their exam differently by watching these videos on your channel. Very interesting. Keep up the good work!

I have had intense eye exams for 35 years due to having Terrible Keratoconus....3 cornea Transplants....Last one rejecting due to lupus!! ..... I can't relax having them done myself....They hurt...I have lost 85% of my sight now!! ...my eyes are Perfect, My Corneas are shot!
I've always wanted this kind of eye exam, but living the US means I'd have to win the lottery to pay the deductible, then take out a mortgage to afford the co-pay before my insurance that I pay out the nose for finally kicks in to pay anything.
You wish! It's actually much cheaper when you find the right deal. I'm from Europe and I pay way less for contacts and eye exams after moving to the US.
I used to work with Richard at a opticians in Northampton, he is the nicest man and a very good optometrist.

I have a colleague at work (I'm an electrician, he's a plumber) but when he's examining something it's such an unintentional ASMR it gives me tingles.
