You're the second TH-camr today that is also sharing a new player friendly build and I'm all for it. All the powerful Arcanes, prime mods and archon shards are overwhelming new players and this "You don't use this so it sucks" mentality still exists within this community despite us having so many options and alternatives that also work.
@@thimovijfschaft3271 you don't need the most op builds to have fun in warframe, I am not a crazy min maxer even as a legendary 4 and just focus on trying out stuff for fun
That's the problem with META as a concept with warframe. Just because it's the most efficient tools available, doesn't mean it's available for everyone.
I'm really loving Gastro Grendel. I used a purple shard to get a little more sustain, and between it, Nourish and Energy Siphon aura, I don't have any energy issues (also at 45% efficiency). It's such a ridiculous but very fun thing to spit enemies back out and watch them bounce around. Especially when you can bounce them around corners or into small rooms. So stupid, but so satisfying.
My biggest issue this patch has been survival fissues being glitchy. From the 2nd relic onwards, I will select a relic and the game will stop spawning enemies, not count timer, and not drain life support for like 15 seconds before it makes me select my relic again. And sometimes, it glitches to where enemies are active while I select my relic
Had something kinda similar last night, but with a sortie exterminate. It was the third mission, and the first thing I noticed was the objective count was like 40, when it is usually something like 200 for sorties. Then we noticed that the ENTIRE level was empty right up to the room right before the exit where it dumped 20ish eximuses on us, which wasn't enough to complete the mission. We spent another couple of minutes sprinting back and forth from extraction to the last few rooms til more eventually spawned. Very odd.
Love the theme with the pets and frames, something that not a lot of Content Creators are doing beyond the usual "doordash" Nautilus. Looking forward to more companion theme builds, will set this one up later today.
It's on most of my active-effect shaders like invis and cracked-relic-effect. It doesn't matter what I do. Sometimes there's just a hovering head or a poser growing *out of* the head of a frame.
I always liked using both the catapult and gastro augments together since I can still create the gas clouds but also be fast as hell in meatball mode. Great video, Tater.
This augment made me go out and farm Grendel Prime immediately. I've been wishing upon wishes for a true gas based ability and Gastro really hits the vibe I've been wanting.
I just started using Arcane Battery on Oberon and with a few tweaks and Helminth to help, it's basically solved his energy starvation, for the most part. I really need to look into putting it on more Frames, Grendel being one of them. Thanks for the tip on that.
@@securatyyy Arcane Intention. And that's true, his main source of healing being a channel. I'd like to use that on him sometime, would probably supplement health from mods well.

@@TacticalPotato oh hell no, verglas prime has poor ramp up without a riven, and it needs a lot of heat in order to offset viral damage from innate cold. Prime burst laser simply needs primed heated charge to do the same

Grendel was terrifying when he could succ the map. I really just don't see this frame as "Deadly" nowadays. He was one of the best CC frames and reduced to a meat pinball on a diet.
I avoid using Grendel out of spite, because of how dumb I think/thought the quest to get him is. Great video though its always a good day with a new tactical potato video. Plus I get free song recommendations off of you
Yeah, it's such a silly thing to not use him over. It's literally 3 missions, zero RNG, guaranteed reward on completion. I could understand being more mad about it if DE did it with more new Frame acquisitions, but they haven't after the negative feedback. Plus, he has a Prime which can be instantly acquired using trading, there's no reason to have that level of grudge over it at this point. It's been like 5 years.
@RedShadowOfSaturn I was also mad because I bought him for plat. At the time he wasn't even worth it and post rework everyone seems to like him but the damage is done. I have the prime but it's just mastery fodder for me.

I just did the basic version of this build and i can nearly, solo level 100 comjunction survival for 30 minutes. And thats huge for me. Because i suck. Lmao
ugh i hate this new update whats up with the random tposing heck even railjack is also effected i got stuck during a litch animation even forced teleport did not work and crewmates dont even shot the turrets
This Update is so buggy i swear, the Tposting ghostlike mirages of some sort, pets not doing anything, Going to your operator in a netracell missions is extremely buggy.
First hotfix just deopped after the update with a lot of changes!!

I get a t-posing ghost on top of my Warframe everytime I go invisible. It might be the livia
It's a common bug, it will probably be fixed soon
I had three tposing operators stacked on top of each other, like a bunch of markers stuck end to end

I don't have that issue. You can change the cloak effect in the options. Maybe that helps.

There an arcane, I forget which, that gives you a bonus per channeled ability. Always thought that one would find a home on Oberon somewhere

yeah raw dps. But in terms of Contagious Bond nuking with heat or Cold spreading to lock a room down verglas is top
