This is an extended version of the theme of the TV show « Stargate Atlantis » (2004-2009) composed by Joel Goldsmith. This is the original music, extended by myself from the original soundtrack. Soundtrack that has been offered to my by Joel Goldsmith himself.
This is a special one for me not only I had the pleasure to speak with him on the phone for more than an hour back in the days when the show was still on air, but I also was lucky enough to visit the sets while they were shooting an episode (some photos: www.thescifiwor... ). Rest in peace, Mr Goldsmith, I hope this to be a good tribute to your talent.

An extremely inspiring and magical soundtrack that i can listen to endlessly.
Man, I miss this show, other than the weird cast changes it was a worthy sequel to SG-1.

Thank you. I don't know for SG-1. End credits music is different than the main theme so it reduces the opportunities to make something. Maybe I'll have a look into that later.

In my book, SG Atlantis was the best Stargate rendition. Too bad it god cancelled, it did deserve the continuation.

Almost as good as SG1, sad it was cancelled after 5 seasons and the movies went nowhere. At least storylines were tied up in a book series.

Sadly I knew Joel and I'm sure he would have sent me some tracks if he was still alive 😢 I tried to contact the people we had in common but nobody knows anything about what happens to his studio and music files...
last part is sad,so "we" lost all chance and copyright to one day release the soundtrack properly :(
We never know. The people I knew from there doesn't know but that doesn't me nobody knows. His family and producers/studios must have information about that but I couldn't reach to them.
I really regret them making stargate Universe, because that’s what killed Stargate, if they hadn’t made stargate Universe like they did, they still might be making stargate stuff
that is not what killed stargate, syfy did. Get over yourself lol
