I’m really feeling the weight of having to let someone go. This is such a challenging time for me. It’s incredible how much you can invest in someone, only for them to leave without any explanation. I suppose their silence can be seen as a response, and I know I need to come to terms with that and find a way to move forward.

So true, you deserve way better. It happened to me 6 years ago, and she got married aftewards. I feel sorry for the rebound she married. But I also say she is his problem now. Be strong and put God first. God's rejection is your protection. Women file divorce more than men. They get alimony, child support, half the home, half your 401k, and Social Security spousal support if married over 10 years. So step back and take a breather if you own a lot of assets. Prenuptial for me next time around. 👍

Thanks for the message. I have spend a lot of time holding on to a person that said she loved me a lot but all her actions showed she didn't. It's very strange when you want to be loved so badly that you'll accept all their destructive behaviour because they say they love you and will change only to repeat the cycle. It truly blinds you.
For anyone reading, walk away when they do this. Entirely. Dont stay friends or in their life or get mad when they lash out because they will try to make this as hard as possible. Love and respect yourself.

This made me reflect on both myself and my ex’s point of views and realities. We cared for one another, battling it out for one to change or change standards, I was never going to submit, I couldn’t. Thankyou for the video brother, I needed to hear this. No hatred towards my ex, I wish her all the best, though I hope I never have to see it. It was a war for sure, a battle of morals, values and overall worldviews. A scarred veteran I have become as many others in this comment section.
The rare chance someone is reading this, remember, break ups are shit, but becoming a degenerate and sleeping around to cope with your pain, is even worse. Keep it together, struggle and suffer if necessary, actually heal and THEN go looking for a partner.
