"Throw Down Some Ice for the Nicest MC"....#RIPBIG 🙏🏾🗽🍎
“I DREAM filthy” one of the dopest opening lines ever! Smh BIG was a poet foreal.
@@UrBMsCrib facts
All his opening lines were crazy... the guy was talented
And after that said, my moms should’ve pushed him dead off(his dad)/wipe the sweat off(meaning y’all shouldn’t have even finished(make him)
Puttin that shit together!
Someone explain the line and why it is great because it went over my head.
The last 3 songs on Life After Death is the best ending to an album ever.
My Downfall
Long Kiss Goodnight
Your Nobody Til'
Big was displaying a master at work.
Your Nobody til- is out of this world kinda track. Can't wait for that reaction
@@RedLine_Imports1 he said he reacted to it but it never came
Ima run the album soon! Thinking about doing it on a livestream.
@DexTVReacts keep in mind the first track on the life after death is called
"Somebody's got to die"
This is a continuation of the last track on Ready to die called
"Suicidal thoughts"
Gotta run the album, Starting with the last song on the last album.
You are just now tapping in but theirs so much more to Biggie's Madness, I'm 43 and I'm from Brooklyn. I truly lived thru it all. Anything u need to know just ask, I'm a true historian when it comes to 90's hip hop. I appreciate the channel for allowing me to re-live my childhood and this truly rich Coulture 🙌🏽
@DexTVReacts Let's Go Dex, let's make it happen 💪🏽
Set a goal on how much 💰 u tryna make to run the album and just have people donate until that goal is reached
I appreciate how you take the time to pay attention to what's being said. Kid was nice for real. Sorry we lost him. Harlem NYC in the bldg. Rock on my dude. Shalom!
I appreciate you for showing love bro! I love music, the lyrics my fav part so I gotta be locked in lol.. Big was amazing! Im glad I started listening to his music.
humble opinion...the last 4 tracks of life after death is the hardest/ best four rap track packaged together. simple put.....big didn't miss. no wasted bars, double enterdres, crazy beats and hooks and prophecies. masterpiece. now imagine bumping this the same after year we had with both pac and big being murdered. the power of words
It's up their with the best ever..
Ima run the album soon!
The GOAT. No debate
Great but not the goat
@@Lorenzzo24.who’s the goat then if not BIG ?
💯
Relax John lol
Pac lol
Big is just an ANIMAL! 😂😂😂
lyrical gymnastics lol
Big was different! 🐐
He said "Frank" he always called himself frank white in his music.
He got it from the movie king of newyork
For some reason I thought he said French lol
@DexTVReacts lol All Good... You should check out "Victory" I feel like it's 2 of his best verses of his career
Frank White is another alias…from the movie King of NY
" I like the way you put it together "
🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🐐
I haven't had a chance to check but have you listened to "I Got a Story to Tell".. It's a true story. RIP Anthony Mason
Yes he did
Yessir! th-cam.com/video/GwnfNNH-NV4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tfDUTIoIMYfQOMi3
He was rolling with them Italians!!
The “More gone than freeman..” line is a double entendre. It also means he’s more gone than a free man (A free slave).. he was hinting to the fact that he was about to leave Bad Boy records to form his own record label.
So is the “Semen/Seamen” line. He was on another level here!
Yahll reading too much into these lines.
@@kevoncox exactly. Smh. Lol
More gone than Freeman is also Big playing around with saying the actors name Morgan Freeman….🔥🔥🔥
@@earhustler08damn i never caught this one
DEX you on point my G this is one of my favorite biggie songs 🔥🔥🔥
Flava in ya ear remix…one of Big’s greatest verses!!!
Big say niggas is mad I get more butts than ashtrays
You know him and Craig Mac was talking about each other in that song
@@darindunlap3666 of course…that’s what makes it even better
Don't get mad
UPS is hiring.
Mad lines
I am so happy that someone of your age. Can really enjoy BIG, Biggie has influenced so many artists. Some people like to down play BIG, but he gave us the best 2 album run forever
Facts. 💯💯💯
This been a dope journey so far! I don't see how people can hate on BIG. He's amazing! Every song I react to is cold lol listening to BIG one of the best decisions I made on this channel
Bg ups Dex! I like the fact that you catch certain lyrics and phrases like "giving cats the opposite of diets, you gain 30 pounds when you die no lie". One of the hardest bars in hip hop. Crazy. BIG was an anomaly. One of a kind.
Aye! That was craazy lol Big was puttin that shit together! I love the music, I try to catch every bar! Big was definitely different! So damn cold!
Biggies hardest shit 👊🔥⛽
The 3 Hardest tuffest coldest songs of all times .. Ever .. all 3 in a row.. on the same album.. to end the album.. BIG was something else in his mobster type shii..
My Downfall
Long Kiss Goodnight
You're Nobody till Somebody Kills You
His attitude. His flow. His confidence. His humor. His wordplay his delivery his slang. His story telling. His vocabulary. His style. Grimy but clean. All that plus the beats.. plus his message in all 3. Nobody did gangster shit like that. Check all boxes BIG was a bastard LMAO
He might or might not be🐐 but at his nicest.. his best product.. he was acold piece🥶🥶🥶
Man this was well said! He a cold mf on that mic! I just started listening to him and he already one of my goats
@@DexTVReacts He a Baaad Boy!! Lol if you never heard it i suggest Sky's the Limit.. kinda goes along w his R&B bag
My favorite Biggie track…he was just different.
Gotta react to "Your Nobody" one of the realest songs..what he said in it where straight facts
Frank is "Frank White"..
"The King of NY"
(A Hood Classic - 90's movie)..
🏆
I thought he said French lol im trippin
@@DexTVReacts lol
Naaaaaah..
You'll hear B.I.G say Frank White in a lot of his songs
👑
That singing melody you recognized always reminded me of the start of the melody to You’re All…I Need… To Get By… by Marvin Gaye and Terry Terrell and covered by Mary J Blige…Also, I know you think predicting his own death in this song came from Pac, consider the album is called “Life After Death” the song is called “My Downfall”, and the 1st album was called Ready to Die.
Thats crazy
Yeah but READY TO DIE was a classic line by Bishop in the film Juice. Of course you know that Bishop was played by Tupac. Juice was released in 1992 and Biggie's READY TO DIE album came out two years LATER. And on a deeper level TUPAC and the NOTORIOUS BIG were linked through cosmology and Masonic rituals. They both represent two pillars. For a detailed breakdown look at on TH-cam Rambo Channel Tupac fire, Biggie ice.
You heard that beat when Mary J and Method Man used it for You're All I Need.
Dexter, I hope you reach 100k quickly. Keep up the great work.
soon! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
The GOAT, mc!!!
HIM!
So DMC is actually Darryl McDaniels 1/3 of Run DMC. Run and the late Jam Master Jay are the other 2 members. DMC is on the hook because prey and prey on my downfall is one of DMC's iconic bars on a Run DMC song.
Which Run DMC song?

This shit was kinda creepy like he knew
Great Reaction !!!!! Biggie sayed "when Frank start bussin, frank start something " referring to movie "king of New York" character Frank White
Now imagine him smoking and just rocking to the beat before saying a single word….then coming up with all this shit in his head on spot.
bruh lol thats crazy! Is there any footage of BIG in the booth?
@@DexTVReacts yeah.. but it’s rare. Mostly ppl that were there tell stories of how he would just zone out.. joke smoke.. zone to the beat again then randomly say “im ready” n go in the booth.
Finally! Been waiting on this 🔥
Some more Biggie songs to react to:
"Unbelievable"
"Suicidal Thoughts"
"Gimme The Loot"
"Machine Gun Funk"
"Miss U" (Featuring 112)
"Just Playing (Dreams)" (Biggie is talking about a lot of Popular Female Singers & Female Groups in a Sexual but Playful way on this track)
"Things Done Changed"
"Respect"
"The Last Day" (Featuring The Lox)
"Crush On You" with (Lil'Kim & Lil'Cease) (This is more of a Lil'Kim & Lil'Cease song, but Biggie does the Hook).
"Get Money" (Junior M.A.F.I.A. Song) (Only Biggie & Lil'Kim do verses on this one).
"Player's Anthem" (Junior M.A.F.I.A. Song) (Lil'Kim's Debut) (Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s 1st Single) (1st Verse - Lil'Cease, 2nd Verse - Biggie, & 3rd Verse - Lil'Kim).
🐐 of all 🐐's...🤔
Amazing reactions enjoying the ride with you.
Another dope reaction bro 💯
Waddup my brother. Ya reasons are the best because you catch the lil things others don't. .. & that Melody you're hearing is from MJ & Methods "you're all I need" hit✌🏿
I meant (reactions), not reasons
Most definitely one of my favorite songs!!
Its one of mine now lol been in rotation since I reacted to it
You gotta do the knowledge to the opening lyrics. His Moms and Pops mixed him withJamaican Rum and Whiskey, then he says his Moms should have pushed his Pops off him during sex because basically he was born into a hellish existence. BIG’s talent is that he requires you to read between the lines. His word play, entendres and subtle implications paints the picture in your mind
And Yes, he saying he rolls with ill Italian Mobster, they are THEEEE only people who called Black “Mullies” 😅and who apparently thought it was cool to smoke Whoolas (crack and weed), which was never cool but was especially played out years before this song. Whoolas/ Whoolies is what turned many normal NYC weed smokers into crack heads in the 80s
Greatest (biggie)
Yo as always appreciate the reaction I told you I don't suggest no bullshit. Damn near everything I gave you is one of your favorites. I'm putting you on to some new heat with that Joell Ortiz that I'm sure it's dropping soon. As far as the government I'm cool with my first name you just did that first and last name like damn 😮😂😂. But you know my username is an acronym for New Jersey in Atlanta. Or just NJ or whatever man but keeping it going love the reactions. And again I totally understand your respect for Pac not to say out loud that Big is better.😂😂😂
Last day , big ft the lox enjoy that sh.....
That song is 🔥🔥🔥, I can't wait for that reaction.
Suicidal Thoughts, Everyday Struggle, Machine Gun Funk & Unbelievable- Biggie. React to that. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Greatest
Do you realize that Run and DMC are two different people
He’s from texas he gets a pass
Do you realize that educating the brother is better than being an a-hole?
I appreciate that bro lol I had no idea
That 1st verse: Favorite BIG verse!!!
I dont know which verse I like more lol they all cold
Exactly... Blunt laced wit white!.
BIG DIFFERENT DEX YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW HE ONE OF THEM EVEN THOU ITS ONLY ONE BIG
Hes HIM!
😂😂 yup he said faith in the beginning
lmao I thought so. Faith must've been playing on his phone back in the day lol
The fact that he described/compared his absent father to a drive-by is wild and genius.
This song was off of his double album called life after death so that might be the theme your picking up on.. at this point in his career, he was getting a lot of death threats and was paranoid that someone was out to kill him.. clearly was right
Dope
Word plays is what made me addicted to Big in 97
I told you bro!! Lol
Facts! Good call bro!
@@DexTVReacts The What…..Biggie featuring Method Man…
Did you catch the "get more gone than freeman"...Morgan Freeman
Hell yea lol
The tune you mentioned @7:34 reminds me of "You're All I Need to Get By" by Marvin Gaye or "All I Need" by Method Man. 🙃
It used to be called biting!! But somehow it changed 2 paying homage because of Jay Z!!!! FOH
lol I see whats going on
@@DexTVReacts listen 2 Camron “Biter” about Jay Z. As BIG & LOX say you’ll see!!
Big on M., Rush!!!
Lol going by your reactions to Biggie songs like this, you're gonna thoroughly enjoy Mobb Deep's catalog.
Notorious B.!.G The Best To Ever Do It
Yes Homage
Dope lyrics by Big and the hook by DMC from Run Dmc
Simply the greatest to ever do it
legend, FRANK WHITE
Have you checked out "The What" with Method Man? Meth almost got booted from Wu Tang for the collab since Biggie had beef with Raekwon and GF. But I loved how BIG gave props back with his "CREAM" reference in Notorious Thugs
Doesn't look like you😮caught it but "My moms and pops mixed me with Jamaican Rum and Whiskey" was bitten by Jay Z... He's got a really bad habit of bitin
Not biten everybody knows its bigs line he paying homage and keeping his bars alive...yall weird with that bs
Everyone took from Big. Why he the undisputed goat 🐐 to real hip hop listeners and not emotional fans of other artists
@@twizzy585ots sure..what you call weird, I call "being hip hop since 1980 from NY"... "Like Rae said it on the Purple Tape"
@@twizzy585ots WE know Jay is a biter. WE watched home come up w BDK as a back up while K got his outfits ready like Aretha taught him.
@@57kwest the weird part is the negative connotation you trying to add but that speaks more about you then it does the MCs you name. It's not even a secret that it is paying homage but everything is a conspiracy nowadays.
Another great reaction Dex back in the 90's in NY some brothers were smoking woolies which is a combination of crack & weed
Just throwing this out there, but that FGE cypher pt1, id love to hear YOU'RE reactions. Plenty of punch lines & all fire
This is dope . It reminds me of Pac’s Only Fear of Death
The melody the lady is singing sounds like Method Man and Mary J Blige "You're All I Need
BIG is the BILLY
React to "It's all about the Benjamins" by Diddy ft. Kim, Lox and Biggie...Big's flows in this track is spectacular 💯
Definitely ready for the features big did on R&B songs. Nobody else could make you wanna keep rewinding it back to their verse like Big. Maybe Wayne the closest
I’m a huge pac fan but the lyrics to this is bone chilling 🔥🔥🔥
That's Mary j blidge. You're all I need
The Chorus is the same rhythm as Method Man All l Need
Yes, this is his spirit talking, This is life after death.
The last song on ready to die was suicidal thoughts. That's where he kills himself, and his spirit continues to life after death.
Both albums are part of the same story. Very similar to 50 cents Power Book show.
17:20 I was waiting for you to catch that bar 😂😂 you didn’t catch it first listen “be more gone than Freeman (Morgan Freeman)”. 🔥🔥🔥 Biggie different!!!
you should check the albums, thay are a sequence, Born to Die album ends in the Life After Death album beginning. masterpiece. ppl dont make albums like those anymore, with a theme and shit like OBFCL for instance. good shit man
Ready to Die and Life After Death….
You should check out MF DOOM. I wish BIG had lived to work with DOOM when he was in his prime. I hope there's a Biggie/DOOM collab in the next life...
The singing in the back sounds similar to “Mary J Blige and Method Man - All I need”. Same melody. That might be what you’re hearing.
This is why I don’t debate casuals in the comments. Some of yall cats be older than me and never heard rap like this but wanna tell me Jay Z is wack and lil Wayne is the greatest 😂😂😂. And youngins are way worse.
I stopped debating to
Don’t debate them. This new generation is cooked.
Bro you gotta try 'What's Beef' ... so cold from Biggie
Life After Death is an Album with no skips
Gain 30 pounds of them hollows. Str8 Barz factz!!! 🔥
Run DMC is a group of two rappers: Rev Run and DMC(rip)
I'm aware now lol I had no idea #ripdmc
Honestly speaking, knowing what we know about puff this song right here was a hint about what was gonna happen to him, he was leaving the label “ BAD BOY “ he said, mom’s cracked up over the casket screaming bastard, crying, know my friends is lying, y’all know who killed him, BIG music is dark, deep, a lot of sarcasm, satire, a lot of HINTS, BEST TO EVER DO IT!! Hands 🙌🏽 down ❤❤
You gotta do one on last day from this album bro !!!
He said frank, when frank start bussin, frank start something !
"when Frank start bustin, Frank start something" ...Frank White is his alter ego (Mafioso type) ... kind of like how Eminem has Slim Shady...he didnt say French.
The the Man was taken out over jealousy and his need to escape the clutches of the Diddler
Yo @dextv it's a well known track but u need to do skies the limit and miss u as big felt it was a perfect mix of hard bars over popular type beat also all about the Benjamin and victory have two of his best verses
"Who is France?"
That's Frank White! Frank white was the main character in the movie King of New York (great movie starring Christopher Walken, Larry Fishburne, Wesley Snipes and David Caraso)! It was a movie the made the rounds in the hip hop community similar to The Killer by John Woo (heavily sampled on Raekwon's (wu-tang) first album) which they are redoing in a series of the same name on Peacock. I had both these movies on the same VHS tape. Let a friend hold it and ain't seen it since. 😂😂😂
So, when he calls himself frank white or francis M.H. he's calling himself king of new york!
RunDMC consisted of Run, DMC, and Jam Master Jay. 3 man group
Bruh I had no idea 😂😂 I thought Run DMC was one dude!
@@DexTVReacts 😂😂😂
Ima have all this history sorted out in a couple of months Wilt! lol
