Installed: Unknown. Refurbished and re-installed at an unknown date, converted from a 3-signal 1003 to a 2-signal 1000T.

Noteworthy details: This thunderbolt was converted from a 1003 to a 1000T at some point. Despite having all the indicators that this unit should be a later model with a 4m blower, this one has an earlier model 5m blower.

I'm back! Today I took a trip down to Blue Island to record their thunderbolt 1000T. I've been itching to record this siren for a while since I and a few others began to suspect that this siren had a 5m blower back in 2022. It wasn't until now that I was able to 100% confirm that it is indeed a 5m unit. This siren also packs a serious punch, it's pretty loud. This is the third time I've recorded this siren. The first was in May of 2022, when only the chopper activated. The second time was last month, May 2024. I did not post the recording because it was AWFUL and my camera got soaked in rain. Thankfully this time around all went well.
