my dad has a Royal Enfield Bullet which he bought the year i was born, i have fond memories of going on rides with him on it. And would love to buy myself an Enfield when i am able to and create new memories with it for me and my loved ones!

The GT with the two tone Chrome and paint tank👍. It looks Norton esque and like a proper Cafe’ racer. That would be a fun bike. These bikes offer a lot of fun per dollar spent. That’s the metric all bikes are judged by! Right? RE hit the sweet spot!

Got a Scram myself. Goes very well after changing the exhaust. Same as the one in the video. My biggest beef with Enfields is the foot pegs on the Interceptor being too high and the same on the super meteor and I'm just 6 feet tall.

I believe they still have the Bullet ES 350 in local market.
It was a very goodRoyal Enfield motorcycle show.
I really like Meteor 350, I have wished this Meteor had a little bit bigger lights at the rear (back of the motorcyle) rather than small lights, this just my opinion but I like Meteor style for touring because the rider doesn't need to bend forward during the riding.
I would really be interested in a Himalayan 650 if they made them!
There's been talk that Royal Enfield was going to start building a 650 Himalayan

Hmmm, I rode a 1967 Honda 305 Super Hawk down a hill on the hiway, got 98 indicated before a speed wobble caused me to quit shooting for the Century!! So now, I could get a 350, over 50 years later, and do 75!!!

I think in nprth america people dont like smaller bikes because they have bigger highways. So they prefer bigger bikes

Just for perspective, my 1967 BSA Lightning 650 came from the factory with a chrome tank, 53HP, but only a 4 speed. It would be fun to see a side by side comparison!

Those 350s are woefully underpowered. The 650 is a good engine.
Although very well finished , way too heavy for the cc and power ,i think royal Enfield , should shed a few kg , its got to be effecting there performance , just saying
Siply they don't know how to shed some kg's like other manufacturers like Honda Triumph etc ...

The Hunter is lighter.
Metal weighs more than plastic, heavier bikes also handle rough roads better.
The super meteor 650 is ok with the weight coj its a cruiser... Just lookat the Harleys

Will any of the new REs go faster, handle better, inspire more rider confidence than my 1960 Norton Dominator?
Don't know about faster but they probably outperform your Norton in every other respect given that the frames were designed by Harris Performance Products who have made successful bikes in almost every category of racing like Endurance, Superbikes, MotoGP, TT, Irish Road Racing and Supermoto for Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Honda.

Intrigued to know why on the 350 Signals bike they have the TP 28 on the rear mudguard, which presumably refers to the tyre pressure as military vehicles do, when the recommended pressure is 32 (solo) and 36 (pillion)
during war time these motorcycles were parachuted down by planes. so tyre pressure needed to be 28. because more than that damages the bike during landing.
The custom looks good but hate the standard silencers.
Agreed, I'd likely replace those with some from AEW, or something from one of the other aftermarket exhaust companies that specifically makes exhaust systems for Royal Enfield

Meteor replaced thunderbird.
They should have taken that last bike out of the box before putting it on display.
Where is a mistake: Himalayan scrambler and Himalayan both has a same engine, that's why bore & stroke both has 78 & 86mm, not 75&55 as written on Himalayan

I am PRO Enfield.
I have an interest in the 650 Super Meteor.
As a long time motorcyclist so this is only MY opinion!
The high bars are too flat and should be angled back and tilted down, as it's more natural for the wrists.
The exhausts are UGLY and sound TOO soft.
Lastly, with such a low BHP, Enfield should have gone belt drive; not RETRO I know, but it would need less
adjustment and be a lot quieter.
They shouldn't have dropped the 500cc single, that was a sad day.
Enfield are doing a great job.

Last I heard, they had sales pushing upwards of half a million on one of their new models.
Puny 350 20hp compared to every other 350 putting out over 30+hp. The Zontes is cheaper and has lots of toys...come on RE get some more hp out of it so we can use it out of town

So, a perfect fit for you then.
Why didn't RE replace the 500's they had with an upgraded engine of same capacity based upon the new 350 engine, just bigger capacity?. We know the old 500 engine was not going to pass the ever stringent emission regulations so why didn't RE come out with a replacement engine almost straight away as they did with the newer 350 engine.
Other than the 411cc engine what you get now is the choice of a 350 single or a 650 twin. 150cc between the two makes it a 500cc. 350, 500 and 650 is the ideal range.
Folks think they are getting what they want in getting a 350, yet soon find out that 20 hp & 20 ft/lbs torque is just not enough in some instances.
RE are leaving 350 owners wanting more, yet kidding themselves that everything is fine.
WERE there currently a 500 Hunter knocking out 30hp & 30 ft/lbs of torque that came in a tad over 190kg kerb weight, it wouldn't take long before the word gets around that of the two the 500 Hunter is the one to get.
Other than the 650 twins I would say RE are not quite giving people what they want, almost what they want yes, yet were enthusiasts offered a 500 single or even a 400 single in similar design to the existing 350, in virtually all the 350 versions there would NOT be the current amount of 350s being sold.
Other than the 411's the 350 is ALL that is out there in single cylinder form, so folks go mad for it.
What is available, suiting their mindset to what is available.
We know a 450 is soon coming out, (it could even be a 500!), but it does look a more modern Japanese type looking engine, (to get this far better performance), liquid cooled etc.
Which may well fit style wise in the more modern looking Hunter and a tarted up modern looking Himalayan, which the current one looks brutish, basic & functional, BUT for the rest of the range it will not fit the retro older looking style of the bikes.
Ruining the look of a RE classic.
Yet were it a 500cc version of the existing air cooled 350 engine it'd fit right in.
Even a 400 would be preferable, just that the domestic Indian market have been so conditioned to want a 350 that is what is offered throughout the World.
The 411 being a bad choice for cubic capacity. 398cc being far better. Better vehicle tax bracket and in places better insurance costs as well.
Many folks actually want a new 500 Royal Enfield single, they would be even more happier with one than a 350 single, just that they may not quite realise it. RE are just not quite getting it right, almost there, but it needs tweaking up in the area's mentioned above.
With all due respect, Royal motorcycles, despite being beautiful and very well designed in terms of design and functionality...
Unfortunately they will not continue well in Brazil...
Because here most consumers value power on the roads...
It's in the blood of Brazilians since childhood...
And Royal is weak in horses, everything that most people don't like, heavy bike, high consumption and no speed power...
