I recommend you to watch this episode on a big screen, sitting comfortably or while doing some other activity. I shot this video at the end of the afternoon. There were almost no tourists but the shops start to re-open slightly. I will taste all the delicious market food in the next episode when more shops will be open. Please let me know if I skipped any interesting place or if you have any questions! Enjoy watching & sharing these memories! PS: Feel free to correct my English... ;)
There is one shop that has fabulous ichimi soft cream, can't wait to go back to Kyoto and have it again. Can you please go to Uji sometime and have tea at Kanbayashi?
a lot of rice balls! Convenience store rice balls, at a shop holding rice balls, green onion miso rice balls, salmon rice balls, okonomiyaki cream cheese The rice balls are refreshing and easy to eat! Green onion miso rice ball It would be nice to have green onion and sweet miso match!
Haha that is a tough question! ;) There are no toilets on the Nishiki market street (about 500m long) but there are definitely toilets here and there in the parallel streets (public toilets in the parks, inside konbini, etc) I guarantee you will be fine! Enjoy Kyoto!

This is Nishiki Shijo-dori in Kyoto!
There are shops on both sides of the narrow pedestrian road!
The lively place is lively!
Thank you for waching again! We love the Nishiki market. It is traditional and picturesque market in Kyoto!
Is there any bathrooms on this street? It seems to be very long street for walk!!
