i think you been swayed by the commentary during the broadcast of that fight.... yes fury was doing very well in the middle rounds with those body blows .. but throughout the fight it was usyk who was pushing fury back with real work rate.. this why usyk had a10/8 round which could have easily been a k.o had the referee not intervened .... showboating didn't mean fury was winning sir... go check CompuBox stats they are disagreeing with you ..with regard to the jab.. actually that jab was pretty inaccurate hence the holding from fury... sir the right man won and i dare say unanimously
Usyk won 1,2,3. Fury adjusted with uppercuts and won 4, 5, 6, 7. Usyk won 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Plus a kdwn. Clean and easy for me.
I don’t hate that scorecard but all judges disagree with you on 12 (Fury) and 2 & 3 were too close for “clean and easy”
@@MikeFinch Please rewatch rounds 2 and 3 closely, preferably without the commentary. See the punches landed, high impact stats available, they are clear Usyk rounds. 12 was close but most people including me scores for Usyk, and the stats also state that. This was a much easier fight to score than people are making it. Usyk was/is the superior boxer.
True Geordies podcast shows a video breaking down every round and how many punches landed in each round. 8-4 to usyk + the knockdown is correct.
@@MikeFinchjudges don’t get to replay the fight and look at punches that landed as closely as we do. Don’t count what lands on gloves or who is showboating. There is a video that counts every single clean punch in every round watch that. OPs comment is correct.

Best analysis I’ve seen of the fight by far. I had it 6-6 maybe 7-5 to usyk in rounds + knockdown so 114-113 or 115-112 usyk so the right man won. Very close fight and would love to see it again, a lot of people are judging the fight off what they wanted to happen and not what actually happened.

Usyk won on 9th round cause ref interfeared. Before 9th round Fury was infront. But Usyk won fair and square. Rematch is 55 45 in favour of Usyk if it happens. Great fighters

In the end is there really much difference in skill level between the two? Does it come down more to tactics and psychology and getting those right on the night? I agree with all who say that the Fury's corner was a shambles. I also wonder if Sugar Hill is not quite the right man for Tyson.
I think you're the first person I've seen that actually gave Mr. Fury his flowers. I have yet to closely analyze the fight, but I have watched it. It was a great fight. It was close. The judges saw it that way. I saw it that way. The Usyk fanbois are to be expected. Every fight has this constant b*tching that occurs after. People don't even know how to celebrate a win anymore. Usyk won. There's a rematch. What are you complaining about? The knockdown was legit, btw. The ropes stopped him from hitting the floor. That has always been ruled a knockdown.
Personally, I thought the fight was great and I want to see the rematch as I think Fury can win back the titles. I'd like to see a more aggressive Fury. 'Deontay/Fury 2' style Fury would Be great.

I'm going to watch the full fight and just go off connecter punched. Tyson needs to be aggressive like he did with Wilder and work on when fighting Usky close, keep left hand on chin and swing hard with that right! No ducking left
We gotta do something about the thumbnails brotha. This might sound weird but I think you would get more views if it was less blurry and easier for the viewer to see. I'm a Fury fan and scored the fight very similar to what you have just said.
I gave Usyk the win but wouldn't have been surprised if it was a draw.
Both won 6 rnds a piece, but with the standing count, Usyk got the extra point.
I don't believe these people who are saying it was one-sided are Usyk fans. Just that they hate Fury so much, and it clouds their vision.

Usyk 1,2 Tyson 3,4,5,6,7 Usyk 8,9(10-8) 10,11 AND YES 12! Those Judges wanted to give Tyson the best chance *That's why they ALL scored the 12th for Fury, but Otherwise has it accurately? lol...
Making this a thing is nuts... The right man won... But one thing I'm apparent in saying, you can't make a case for Fury to win... It's REALLY hard... to play mental gymnastics to say Fury didn't lose this 5 Rounds to 7... If you give Fury the 12th, your giving Usyk the 2nd... Easy answer: some in the know have already watched the fight in slowmo and scored it methodically already. Fury won 4 clearly, probably 5, out of 12.
In 9th round ref at the beginning didn't want to call a knockdown for Fury and he was hoping that Fury will recover and the round will be even. But when Fury hit the ropes first time, second time, third time, fourth time - then ref was like "oh wow! fury's about to get knocked out! I'd better call and knock down and will save him". This is what ref did.

Man its either Usyk 7/8 to Fury 5/4 or at the very least its 6/6 but Usyk knocksown means he still wins it fair and square.

If it was a non champ fight? Fury wins but it wasn't it was the full thing and an 11 round 2 min:59 sec domination would mean nothing if you get put out in the last second (it would obviously mean something but you know what I mean)
Usyk had the first couple of rounds, tyson had all the middle but 8-12 were Usyk and he was closest to finishing the fight by a mile in r9. So its Usyk even close (and honestly if it's the best vs best it should be close or theres no glory) it's Usyk without controversy

1) “fury looks so good coming forward and being the bigger man” - conditioning?
2) fury won 5 or 6 rounds not the majority but that is up for debate, so don’t claim he definitely won the majority and then present facts that prove that is not the case
3) the knockdown and the rules, boxers are allowed to use the ropes, the rules say that the ropes should not prevent the boxer from falling as he is hanging to the ropes, now, we witnessed a stoppage! That is the point, referee took one or two final punches from usyk… because fury didn’t fall and only HANGED to the ropes after the judge interrupted… so yeah…
You keep saying that fury could take the count and recover… so the round wouldn’t be over, he would recover (a little) but also usyk would have time, after catching his breath to nail fury to the ground…
You also said that fury wasn’t afraid to take usyk… did you watch the “build up” if we can call a buil up? Is more like a history of waiting for 2 years (give or take) and a fury - Ngannou fight in between… common… be real

This shows a breakdown of punches landed per round. Usyk won 8-4 plus the knockdown. I think you're counting a lot of punches that didn't land

There’s no argument for a draw. Please don’t mix up competitive rounds for the whole fight, there’s rounds where fury only lands 3 punches. Let’s be honest usyk punches p4p done more damage that fury’s flick shots… usyk landed more on fury than he did on Aj. About 40 punches more that’s to Tyson fury’s untouchable defense that we didn’t see Saturday.
