Everest, including the highest weather station on Earth. Follow along as the team climbs into the mountain’s “death zone” to complete the network of weather stations in order to improve our understanding of climate change.

I wonder if they’re using ham radio APRS for purposes of collecting data from the weather stations or something else?
There's 3 levels of redundancy to it. Satellite, cellular, and a 400MHZ radio communications. All of the stations going up the mountain are running similar hardware which allows for radio communication/transfer between them, too. Last but not least a local card stores data in case of complete failure. Quite a bit of thought, redundancy, and engineering went into it! Pretty awesome 😁

I'm so sick of hearing about climate change. I love these kind of videos but all they ever talk about is climate change. They don't ever say anything new or talk about how to fight it. Just " were documenting climate change because of the exact same thing we've said in every single other video we've released" you ever see when they remake a movie with the exact same cast same storyline same script but filming in a new location. That's what it's. Yes it's a problem but I was nat geo to learn not to be preached at!
