Yeah, it is a good idea for security that you can only get to the floor you have a room on. But it certainly makes meeting up with other guests a little more complicated. We have literally never used a fitness center on vacation. However - Jack has used them before on business trips where he stayed in a hotel. So we can see why people would use them. But when we are on vacation, we usually get enough excercise walking around theme parks all day, am I right? Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!

This was a great Hilton property with three very good restaurants. I suppose there just isn’t a good way for a lot of these places to handle a thousand people all on the exact same schedule. I must say a gorgeous hotel and I love the art work. Your room is well appointed and like you Jack, I do like privacy when I am in the bathroom, especially if there is a toilet in the bathroom. The VARIA restaurant looked awesome as did the meals. You also have a few different dinning options. Looks like a great place to stay, just avoid the conferences when you go. You've got to love that view 😍 just the kind of place you need on vacation! I've never actually seen a legitimate coffee machine in a hotel room before! Usually I'm limited to a kettle and a sachet of the instant stuff!
Great room tour! The frosted bathroom door would freak me out though haha! Love when there is a Keurig in a room. The peanut butter porter definitely sounds interesting. The tuna poke bowl looks yummy. Their brunch buffet looks amazing too! Varia looks delicious too, love Italian. My husband would be ALL about that chicken parm. That really is a huge meat ball lol! Looks like a lovely hotel!
Yeah, frosted glass sliding bathroom doors are a trash idea. The food at this hotel was tremendous. We had such good meals. It was a great property with great amenities. It would have helped if they had a few more elevators when they host big events. But other than that, we highly recommend this place. Thanks for watching and commenting!

It's a shame they don't have staggered check-in for conference attendees to make life easier. LOVE Crabtree and Evelyn! Bathroom glass doors at the things at the moment, and I don't understand why!! Beautiful room and the hotel looks fantastic. Love that rooftop bar and you had me at brunch buffet! The restaurant food made my mouth water.
Bathroom glass doors do not make a lot of sense. Why are so many new hotels giving people something no one was asking for? But yeah, this is a lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The food was soo delicious! Staggered check in is a great idea - they also need a few more elevators. There are 3 elevators that go to the first five floors (public space) and then only 3 elevators that go to the other 15 floors of guest rooms. Three elevators is probably enough most of the time. But when a bunch of people leave a conference or other event in the hotel all around the same time, they need a lot more than just those 3. But other than that, we loved this place. We have stayed in so many hotels where check has taken far too long, never a good start to a stay! Lack of planning on the hotels part, crazy! The rooms looked nice and the food looked tasty too! Great review guys, cheers, Simon👍

Beautiful and modern hotel with great amenities. Too bad there’s only 3 elevators and can’t handle big crowds. Your room looks clean and spacious. The view outside is just stunning. Perfect place to relax. Some good restaurants too serving delicious food. This is a nice hotel to stay, but not with big events.

You made some really good points about logistics for people moving within a big event area. It was definitely a gorgeous hotel. Plus you may be sharing the room with someone who you'd rather not see your silouette of whatever you're doing in the bathroom. That is a good security feature, but you're right about their being some issues with visiting friends on another floor. Great ammenities. Love that rooftop bar and restaurant looked so good and so much fun.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Main. It was a lovely hotel and we liked almost everything about it. The only negative was the logistics for conference - and even that wouldn’t have been a problem if there weren’t a thousand people at the conference all trying to get to the conference sessions at the same time and eat meals at the same time and get back to their rooms at the same time. Excellent video! I loved the statues, art and the fountains. The rooms were really nice and had great views. All the restaurants also looked really good. Nothing like a good brunch buffet. We had some great ones around here, but many discontinued due to COVID and never started back up.
All of the artwork looks really cool! Very cool looking room, though I'm with you on the clear barn doors. I don't get the appeal of using them for bathrooms, but it seems like a lot of hotels are doing that now.
It’s a beautiful hotel. I don’t like the line at check in. To bad the game room was close. At least the pool was nice. The wings look delicious. The buffet had a good price. It’s cheaper than buffets in Vegas. You guys make me hungry looking at all this food. Now I want chicken parm. I’m so surprise was busy. 👍
I just stayed at this hotel so I appreciate your video. I agree that I don't like the way they did the bathroom doors - just makes no sense. But overall, I really like the hotel. It was my first time at a Hilton. I know this is just me, but I personally would try to avoid eating at the hotel since you're downtown and have many other affordable options. As far as the elevators being crowded at the conference - not sure what the solution is there. I was just there so it was kind of chilly so I really appreciated the pool where it was nice and warm. I had planned to back there and lounge with my ipad but just never did. You said the game room was closed - I think it's still closed. I had a bad experience where they were doing construction on the restaurant late at night, sending vibrations noises all through the hotel. Bunch of people complained and they stopped. In hindsight, I wish I would have upgraded to river view. I was on the 12th floor and I enjoyed relaxing looking out the window but I had the same view you had. Oh, also I didn't care for the high back chair next to the window - just sort of hard.
Yeah that hotel looks nice.. logistically, like you said, it's going to get crowded if there's an event there. Otherwise a pretty good hotel, and buffet looks yum!
We’ve run into the same situation with conferences at hotels. Only 3 elevators?! Eeek. That is pretty annoying. The hotel does look very nice, love all the windows in the lobby area.
Sounds like a similar traffic situation at Disneyland. Too many people and not enough elevators for peak times. Love the views from the outdoor restaurant of the naval yard. That frosted glass door doesn't offer a ton of privacy though.
The issue with large crowds at hotels just can’t be thought about during their design. We stayed at a hotel with a cheerleading contest occurring over the weekend & the girls spent their free time play in the elevators. Saying that, it’s a nice looking hotel with a very modern feel with the artwork and the room was great. The brunch buffet looked incredible ☺️
This place is impressive despite the shortcomings. This is the first time I have heard of restricted access to floors, which is great for security despite the inconvenience as you mentioned. The food for the buffet looked very fancy, that helps justify the price for sure. Another great review Jack and Alice, pleasant to watch. 🎯📺💯
