Trevor Wyatt Murrayville's malleefowl guardian has some good news, the lonely female malleefowl who lost her long-time mate last year, has introduced a new beau.
The friendly female along with several nests of malleefowls have been lovingly protected by Trevor and his father before him for over 50 years.
They have survived bush fires, drought, feral cats and foxes and Trevor who was very concerned for this lonely female, was overjoyed to meet her shy, but handsome new beau.
