That was a nasty bite, and if the horse held on any longer, could have resulted in a broken bone. Regardless, I have no sympathy for anyone, who stands that close getting bitten, with a clear sign or inability to read English. My heart was in my throat for those 2 tiny laughing kids as well. Thank you Abdullah
best to keep your distance especially from a horse that doesn't know you and/or lays its ears back - The jaw strength (masseter muscle) of a horse is about 500 psi (pounds per square inch) Humans jaw strength are usually less than 200 psi, while a Pit Bull measures 235 psi (#3 dog breed in jaw strength). injuries can be severe, however, ranging from simple lacerations, through loss of skin and flesh, all the way to amputation of fingers, ears, or noses. Severe bruising, torn connective tissue, and fractures are also possible results of being bitten by a horse.
Imo that was nothing more than a nip, a REAL bite will most often break the skin and, depending on where you’ve been bitten, often into the underlying muscle or bone. The vast majority of real bites require hospital attention
Well done to the horse,it’s not like he can say stop frigging touching me! That’s me being polite saying frigging! What makes me laugh every single time is when someone gets bitten and I have said it before why do the people say ouch! and look at the guard! What do these people want the guard to say to the horse,That’s it! You are on the naughty step when we go back home! There’s a a bloody big sign warning people that they could get bitten! Why do people pose like they are on the catwalk! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
People are just so blind to how the horse is feeling. It's irritated; ears back, pinched nostrils, swinging it's head from side to side. Give the poor animal his space....he's working!
Not their job, many don't speak or read English. Any animal who pins his ears back means business, even dogs do it. Visitors treat these like big dogs, it's a wonder more people aren't hurt. Moat horses unless raised different don't like their heads petted. It's disgusting how people maul them & tease them😢
Verdienter Biss!
Serves him right. Shouldnt have invaded horse space. The public think they have a right to get their photo taken and invade the space of rider and horse. THEY DONT. As an ex military man I am surprised that there aren’t notices informing the public that they are on Military Property and that ordinary rights are the same, THEY DONT. Military (MoD) police and military personnel take precedence as does military law. The horse ps and riders aren’t there for their entertainment, they are on guard duty, and it is and offence under military law to interfere or prevent a soldier from doing his or her duty, even to the extent of them having to use force to perform their duty.. Also don’t forget a horse is in the military 1:28 as well
I served for 18 years. Never mounted guard on civilian property, always military. Nevertheless you just do not get to close to a horse whether you know it or not. Even my daughter’s horse that I knew when holding the bridle stood on my foot which resulted in me having to have surgery to remove the nail bed of my big toe. Horses are unpredictable and shouldn’t be take for granted
It hurts maybe now you believe they do bite. To the parents who encourage the children to get as close as they can you don't have a protective bone in your bodies. It's all about the photo to post on social media.😢
If anyone considers that as being ‘badly hurt’ you’ve never seen a real bite! That was just a nip, hurts like hell yes, but could be much, much worse and requiring hospital treatment.

ikr.. that made my blood boil when he had the horse by the throat!! What was wrong with him?!! obviously, that lady officer isn't on duty because if she was she would not have let him get away with that!!
I now have no sympathy for people who see the sign then crowd up as close as they can get, crunch! Be aware people! Now 2 unsupervis4d little girls are standing close by the horse that just bit someone.
Actually there should be no petting n caressing the horse. They ,too, at times do not like to be touched so this practice should be absolutely done away with. Photography can be done by standing at a safe distance.
I am thinking a fly is biting the horse.... at timestamp 10:43 ....there is a light reflection that zooms around. I slowed the video... and caught sight of it in the doorway about shoulder high on the guard...it moves to the arch of the frame and back down towards the right fore leg. I have kept horses, this ones head thrashing reminded me of how annoying fly bites are.
Yes, same problem last summer including one really bad one where people kept coming out to check for the problem, not one looked for horse flies, I could see it clearly and my eyesight isn’t all that at times. I have a scar on the ball of my thumb from nearly 40 yrs ago, carriage driving at the time, made for an adventurous drive! 😂
Although certain horses biting tourists make great video, I think it is too dangerous to have them on guard duty. It is much better PR to have chill horses. Sorry but I actually enjoy the videoes with Monty and Tristian more, then Ormonde or Arnie.🥰
Personally I think the horses should be trained to bite, they're four legged soldiers without any weapons except their mouths. They're being touched by 100's of disrespectful people everyday. Love Ormonde and Arnie❤
And that's what the public thinks it's about PR. At Disney if you want a photo or to be up close and personal you have to make an appointment for a meet and greet. This is supposed to be a branch of their military and it's actually a disgrace to the soldiers and horses to be touched ,groped, antagonized and disrespected on a daily basis. It's all about the tourists feelings.
I've got zero sympathy for tourists standing so close to the horse's . And then wonder why the horse bites them
As I was always told………..Sympathy lies between $hit and Syphilis in the Dictionary!!!!!!! 🪬🩷😜📖🤪🩷🪬
If you're frightened of the horse, keep. AWAY from it!

@@battles146 Thank you for that very well said, information

@@battles146 fully agree, I’ve seen it in action but managed to avoid it myself, had a few nips over my 68 yrs though! 😂
No sympathy here - read the bloody big sign that says BEWARE!

Ce n’est pas une peluche ni un zoo. Bien fait ! Bon cheval ! Les touristes ignorent les panneaux et bien qu’ils se fassent mordre !
I am not that fluent in French, juste un peu, but I did not need to use the translation of this one.
No sympathy
The guard needs to tell these ridiculous parents that their children risk being bitten.. KEEP youngsters AWAY

It’s not their responsibility to teach other people’s children respect, good manners and use some common sense.
It was going to happen sooner or later!
Verdienter Biss!
Well I guess they didn’t read the signs. Cry me a river.

Sadly they’re not on Military Property, that’s a public pavement belonging to the local council.

Kinder sind da sorglos, frage mich nur, wo waren die verantwortungslosen Eltern?????
Badly hurt ?? People can see how the horse is reacting but still they put themselves and children too near the horse
Why does everyone believe they are horse whisperers?
Because they are bloody goons!

Its cheaper than a Tattoo.😎
Sorry this happened, but you are on you own risk, and the sign is clear.
In all fairness, the sign doesn’t say ‘Don’t feed the horses foreign food.’🤷🏻♂️
🤣🤣🤣

4:32 -Looked as if the horse was trying to get it's breath back after the man had grabbed it by the throat?! 😡
4:41 - AND STRAIGHT FOR THE REINS!!! 🤬

I hate it when people stroke the horse and then look at their hand in disgust, leave the poor horse alone!
@@christinemorgan5278 That bugs me too.
I believe he was holding the head collar not the horse, not I might add that that should be allowed either. I’ve seen a few people doing that lately
And another souvenir horse hickey.
Weird lady is back, lol.. They need to get her away from the horses permanently... Tourists take their own risk by getting bit...🤔🙄
She gives me the creeps. I have to turn off when she arrives
Well the man got a souvenir
Oh no she is back..not in orange
Hahahahahaha the British circus is in full swing in London town.
That young girl is back again
she reminds me of the laughing woman who was eventually banned from Horse Guards - wonder why she is unaccompanied by anyone -
Is she there every day?
Que bueno que lo mordió, si sabes que muerde el cabello!!!
Better go to the vet right a way for a tetnus!
Tetanus!
Ha ha
People don't got to the vet!The horse would go to the Vet as they're ANIMAL doctors. Honestly there are some really idiotic people aroud
@@lizlyon2902Clearly went right over your head 🤣
Tetanus is not spread from a horse bite.
Read the sign!

There's a sign that's reads horses may kick or bite.
Why stand so close so that the horse bite you? Stupidity !!
Why do all these idiots think these horses are pets??? No sympathy, except for the guard & horse!
These people have no idea how strong these huge animals are. Do they have no sense of self-preservation?
Правильно что укусил, не подходи близко🙂
Can't say I'm sorry keep away to much torment.

There should be a ban on touching the horses
Like bloody Disneyland
It’s a shame people can’t read.
Read the sign please.
Not hearing the guard saying don't touch the horse! Why not!
Because they’re not supposed to speak to the Tourons.
