What she says is so true. Often when you go to authorities or the child themself goes to the principle etc. Those in power just go to the parents and the parents laugh it off or move away. The people who are meant to protect these kids often let them down the most. Kimya really has a powerful way with her words that every few have.

this song is beautiful but heartbreaking. but really it just makes me angry and want to find a way to help those kids. you can contact childhelpusa in the US or the nspcc in the UK if you think a child is being abused or neglected do something about it, don't be like the parents who "instead of getting help, they just pretended everything was okay"

Sometimes i try to retend that this doesn't happen and that it alll has just stopped out of the kindness of peoples heart but the truth is there is no backing out. Things like this does happen and its horriible it just makes me want to cry.
these lyrics are so true. there is a little girl in my school. she is in 6th grade i think. my bestfriend lives next door to her, and she says she hears that girl screaming "don't hit my face, people will see!" she comes to school dirty, starving, and beaten. kids make fun of her more than anyone. because she is so loud all of the time and she smells bad. but they have to realize she only picks the screaming off of her ignorant parents. the social workers don't do shit about it either..
@theclamorofcate but it impedes on the first amendment and many of constitutional laws but we could have the government pay good parents by giving them tax cuts or some benefit even though you have to take good care of your child plus no one wants there freedom of speech or any of there freedoms taken away unless 2/3 of the nation agrees with you then its alrite to take peoples freedom away hooray for following the majority
