Tally Ho is a work of art, great craftsmanship, dedication, bloody mindedness, wonderful companionship, beautiful music and blow you away movie making. An absolutely stunning journey of human perseverance.
To the chap who said that the lady playing the violin was “very good,” she was outstanding; as was the gentleman playing the guitar. On the subject of rockstars, Leo Goolden must surely be the Mick Jagger of the wooden boat world. What a wonderful and uplifting video. Thank you.
The display of wooden boat building attendance shows that fine craftsmanship I our mass-produced world is still a draw card. David Leg's kayaks are sublime!!!! What absolute mastery of the medium - they are (almost) too good to use and should be preserved for the future. Tally Ho and Leo with his crew are a phenomenon that proves crafting skill is something that speaks to your heart. Great boat, great guy and amazing crew all add up to more than the parts of what it is. Seeing the huge line of people waiting to view Tally Ho, it's incredible to realise that this is only happening because a crazy guy called Leo didn't want to let a rotted boat hull become nothing more than history. Leo understood that it was so much more than just rotting wood and his genius is sharing the dream of restoring her with us through his channel. Every person in that queue wants to celebrate the day when Tally Ho sails again, as does every subscriber to his channel. Only two more (rolling) years to go! :)
Doc, where did you get the 2 more years number? I was hoping it would launch next year at the boat show. That would be a HUGE draw for attendance at the show.
@@danharding4794 Hi Dan, the 'two more years' is a joke started by Leo as that's been his rolling launch date since he started the restoration.
