  • Testing if Highline camera will work in my Volkswagen Golf #MK7 with MIB2 infotainment unit. Performed quick coding with OBDeleven, wired it to power and CAN-BUS network, and checked if image from the camera appears on the display. Now it's time to order proper wiring kit.
ℹ️ I got a second-hand Highline RVC #camera for Golf MK7 Variant/Wagon/Estate/Kombi and wanted to check if it's actually working and if my infotainment system is supporting all cool features that came with the Highline version. After confirming that the camera works fine, I can move on with the #retrofit.
⚠️ Hatchback and Estate/Wagon/Variant are using different RVC cameras. Badge profile and drain pipe are different.
ℹ️ Differences between Lowline and Highline RVC cameras:
    - dynamic guiding lines
    - fish-eye mode
    - trailer mode
    - parallel parking mode
    - image available while moving forward
    - camera can be turned on by parking sensor button
