hey brother northern ky rock hunter here. god bless you
Little foldably hand saws are great for roots.
Nice finds man, that bifurcated point is a MacCorkle. Early Archaic, around 9,000 years old. Keep at it, lots of stuff left to find in that shelter!
Awesome hunt, guys ⚡!!!!
Calish I'm sure I didn't spell it right soak in vinegar great finds
Some great finds and we enjoyed watching. We finally got some rain here, so we are thankful for that. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your next hunt. 👍🏻
Bennett’s enthusiasm is so much fun to watch.
Another best day ever .thanks for sharing.
That type of shelter should go back to paleo .... You might have to dig 8 to 10 feet down out past the dripline to start finding points from that time though
should go back to? is that up to u
I Ben reading about the digging laws in KY..says it's a felony to dig archeological sights with out a permit...i would just like to now if I'm able to dig or not ..I love doing what you guys r doing but I don't want to go to prison for a rock
I suppose wherever you gathered that info about needing a permit, there should be related info about who would provide the permit. I know there are some blurred lines in terms of law interpretation as it relates to private land and what is determined an archeological site. Perhaps to be absolutely sure, you should contact the "authority" but you might be opening a can of worms and next thing you know there might be a survey being performed on "your" spot! Lol
FYI, this video was filmed on private land that has been surveyed.
who's land u digging up and looting?
Not yours. Thanks for watching bear!
Super day you both had
