Mazda 6 How to Program Transponder Key (3rd Key)

This video shows how to program a 2006 Mazda 6 transponder key when you already have 2 programmed keys.

Also, if you only have one programmed key, Batteries Plus is a great place to get a second key. I had them cut and program a second key (without key fob) and it cost around $90

It's a first generation Mazda 6 which included years 2002 to 2006.

not working for my mazda 3, 2006. I have 2 keys programming fine. but when trying to program the third key, this process does not work. NOTE: when insert my third key, the security light flashes very quickly and constantly

I've only tried this on a Mazda 6. I saw a video for a Mazda 3 and he programming the 3rd key a little differently. When he put in back in the lock position, he immediately took it out. Not sure if it makes a difference but may be worth a try.
