Delicious looking, Ramen . A very well run establishment. So efficient in frontif customers that unless they watch this video they would never understand the amount of work from the president , the manager and front of house staff that goes into making their delicious ramen . Thank you for the video , and all your hard work . 🎉
Man it feels like a military establishment, i bet some people like such quiet atmosphere but i tend like to have a conversation or too with others at places i eat or atleast while I wait.
*27:48** Jiro" is the most popular type of food in Japan.* I don't believe that for a second. I"m pretty sure that sushi, yakiniku, curry rice and gyoza are all more popular. I don't think it's even the most popular ramen soup style in Japan. If so, why aren't more ramen shops doing Jiro style? How many in Okayama-shi besides this one? That said, this is a decent place and not too far of a walk from the main train station. I'd rather go to Tenjin Soba most days (better food and nicer staff IMO), but if really hungry this is a good option.
In Japan is take-out not a thing? It seems like they would do an exceptional amount of business if they considered take out orders, since only 15 people can squeeze in at one time. It would avoid lines and greatly increase profits.
Takeaways are common. Just that locals prefer eating their ramen noodles on the spot so they can eat it while it's firm. You will see lots of people in Japan getting takeaways of bento boxes.
bento sells more for takeouts... a lot of reasons why japanese prefer eating out (specially to the working group) is bonding after work as co-workers is a big thing.. So take out is usually not an option for those.
Most ramen stalls in Japan use a ticket system, you enter Japanese bills into a ticket vending machine and push the button of your choice. Since this store is in Okayama, there would be less english translations in the store as it's not really a foreign tourist spot. But you can always use Google Translate and seeing that the staff are of younger generation, they might be able to understand/speak some english 🙂

How much is their ramen? It looks so good. I tried googling and it only brought up American places or websites in Japanese
Around $7 - $8 USD
Interesting to see it's mainly men in the morning
Delicious! Amazing looking food 😋
I've never been to Okayama but I will visit this place if I do one day :)
Looks good!
Just love it 💕🥰
It troubles me that the young people leave so much soup uneaten.
I just know damn well those noodles are delicious
when you have a long line of locals, it's a 100%
