Rishabh Bose, that's true! His lyrics, singing, and writing were all awesome. He was such an independent musician, too, he could've done so much just on his own. I'm not saying that's "wasted potential" because he was with other bands for so long. In fact, I'd say it's the _opposite!_ He was incredible, inspirational, and will certainly be missed, not only for his influence on others, but for the wonderful masterpieces he created in his time. I truly believe that Chris Cornell discovered the "Forbidden knowledge" of the Universe that unlocked the portals between all present, past and future existences. And was able to move unfettered between them. And if you really contemplate his lyrics you will more fully understand what it is he was trying to tell us... Part of the brilliance of Chris Cornell to me is he doesn't write the same songs over & over again. Look at Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of Dog & his solo stuff. You can easily tell which song is from which. Then in each of those songs none of them sound similar.
Just remember Chris was singing only to us , the fans that understand a variety of pain and we may find happiness in that pain , because it's motivation

Great dad to his kids and gran kids. Was a great husband to his wife. Retired. Love ya uncle Jeff. Thanks for the memories ❤️
What stuns me is everyone's focused on his voice, or what he did to them with his 'leaving' but they're not seeing a man tell you why he did what he did. From 'The day I tried to live' to this Chris told you exactly how he felt. The ending was not the surprise for anyone who was a fan and listened to his lyrics.
When you listen to the lyrics of. His songs over the past 12 years are about how a Woman has Hurt Him “ He’s Singing About His V.K. She ended His Life 😢
First time I ever hear Chris sing was with soundgarden. Wow what a voice was my reaction. Then my eldest brother bought the first sound garden album for me and my younger brother,….....to share!!! I think Higher Truth was Chris's best work. All his talents as a singer-songwriter are on display on this album. I would have expected to prefer his hard rock stuff, but he really nailed this album like nothing else. And the people backing him up are superb.
Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of alltime. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. Chris Cornell had such a unique voice. With other singers, you can hear them trying to hit certain notes and you can judge them on how well they hit those notes. But with Cornell, there is no missed note. Anything he sings seems to become its own note. His sound is so natural. The sounds of the wind and the birds are never off-key and neither is he.
I have an autistic 3y.o. and he gets in these moods where there he can't stop crying, but as soon as I play this song he immediately calms down. Don't know what I'd do without this song.
I get chills thinking I was alive with a person who had such a voice. Glad you were here for the time you were my brother. Hope you're doing well wherever you are.
Given the date and time...this is the sadest song I have ever heard..though the vocal is upbeat the words drag you right back down...but only if you listen can you catch it...remember never let your shadow stand between you and the light...even in the pouring rain of life..always alaways always find a way to overcome strive to survive.
Listen to rush, tom sawyer. Catch the mist catch the myth catch the mystery catch the drift. Though his mind is not for rent. To any god or government always hopful yet discontent. He knows changes ain't permanent. A modern day warrior mean mean stride, todays tom sawyer has Mean mean pride..
From that terrible day, to this and all the days ahead, I will mourn the silence of a singular and unique voice. It's still hard to listen to his raspy and ranged tones without an overpowering sense of tragedy....when it was always, one of exaltation.
I know you made your comment around 3 years ago. Sorry for replying so long afterwards. But........I sound exactly like Chris Cornell. No one else knows but my steering wheel.

Until the sky bleeds the pouring rain

And did me wrong, and it serves me right

It's taking me miles away,
From the memory of how we broke apart
Here we go round again
Every single feeling tells me this is leading to a heart
In broken little pieces and you know I need this
Like a hole in the head
Every single feeling tells me this is leading to a heart
In broken little pieces and you know I need this
Like a hole in the head
And I nearly forgot my broken heart

Why, thank you! : )
Someone: What? YOU didn't DO anything!"
Yeah, true. Sorry. : (
James, hey, a Canadian, eh? You must be!
Sorry if I'm wrong :)

I grew up with this man's voice - what an amazing artist - R.I.P Chris 💔
Same, been listening since '94.
The most talented seem to be the most troubled.
@Angela Merkel and layne stanley and scott weiland all great legends rip
Lyosa barry you just might be the most beautiful girl I've ever seen! And you have great taste in music too!?! Lol some guy is super lucky. Cheers from Oklahoma
All round musical genius. Such a tragic loss. 😢
As a 73 year old music fan, since the early 60's finding new, awesome sounds! This is one of the best, quality recordings I've ever heard. Chilling!
most beautiful lyric video I've ever seen
Part of the brilliance of Chris Cornell to me is he doesn't write the same songs over & over again. Look at Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of Dog & his solo stuff. You can easily tell which song is from which. Then in each of those songs none of them sound similar.
Just remember Chris was singing only to us , the fans that understand a variety of pain and we may find happiness in that pain , because it's motivation
Until your done, get rid of the toxic and take care of you own broken heart!
Hi I recommend a song called 'the bond villain' by Robert Nix
My dad's best friend shown me this album . We jammed it to work every morning for like 5 years off and on He died tragically by his own hand . We will never know why. He was truly like an uncle . Great dad to his kids and gran kids. Was a great husband to his wife. Retired. Love ya uncle Jeff. Thanks for the memories ❤️
Treasure the moments you shared and be that for someone else to reflect upon when your time comes.
True enough. I still think he was murdered tho
Why you tryna make me cry this morning lol
His death is suspicious idc.
Why do I feel like there is a hidden message in this video
Alcohol mate
You're not alone
When you listen to the lyrics of. His songs over the past 12 years are about how a Woman has Hurt Him “ He’s Singing About His V.K. She ended His Life 😢
First time I ever hear Chris sing was with soundgarden. Wow what a voice was my reaction.
Then my eldest brother bought the first sound garden album for me and my younger brother,….....to share!!! OMG share?! I felt like to cut this album in two was a sin. So I let go and gave it to my younger brother.
I was already sold ♥
This song\video is full of symbology and cryptic messages. RIP Chris they'll never extinguish your legacy.
This is his life. He told us about his life. And it mirrors most of us. Thank you Chris. For everything. ❤
Hi I Recommend a Song called 'The Bond Villain' By Robert Nix
It's so sad to loose someone with such talent.❤️
This is the most sophisticated lyric video I ever seen in my life
of sure!!
I miss you Chris. Thanks for sharing your beautiful self with us. 🙏 You wanted the Father and the kingdom other than this planet. I understand. We all gotta go sometime. Your music is forever written in time.
Beautiful
What a legend, I love listening to Chris. We miss you Chris keep everyone in heaven entertained 🙏🏻
Take a picture of the sun, but it won't help you see the light
The picture will show you the sun is not a star, not a ball of fire, not far, but local, same sized as the moon, both powered by the black sun below. The Heliocentric model of the earth is a lie
I always used to listen to Soundgarden and Audioslave when I was little. My dad loved Chris Cornell so that was what I listened to when I was 3-8. It was amazing. I discovered Chris Cornell again right after he died. It really makes me sad. It's only now that I realize how truly amazing he was.
SkippyIkeoh Good man
SkippyIkeoh rediscovered him as a child and now as adult he discovered me but I wanted to listen to him only to rediscover he died...... The things this man had on his mind.. It's so easy to judge a man or a woman but it's not easy to judge the mind
SkippyIkeoh glad you're refunding Chris Cornell and enjoying it on my TH-cam enjoy more to come
SkippyIkeoh Me too man, I love Chris but dad is terribly sad he is gone.
SkippyIkeoh i made my son discovered him just one month before Chris died... we both are still in shock and miss him.
My favorite vocalist/writer, ever.. Miss Chris Cornell giving us new tunes, but man, the ones he left us are all unbelievable
THIS MAN IS TRULY ICONIC!! A WONDER CUT SHORT OF LIFE AND SO MANY LONG TO HEAR HIS VOICE ONCE AGAIN. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE LOVED BY MANY, YOUNG SOUL. MAY GOD BLESS YOUR SPIRIT AND YOUR SOUL. LONG LIVE THE MEMORY OF CHRIS CORNELL. AND REMEMBER, WE ALL HAVE OUR DAY OF JUDGEMENT, YOU, WHO LED HIM DOWN A WEARY LONELY ROAD OF LIFE. I SEE IT AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOUR NAME. BUT REMEMBER WE ALL, EACH & EVERY SOUL HAS OUR DAY OF JUDGEMENT AND QUITE POSSIBLY THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY SHALL ALSO SEE AND KNOW WHO IS TRULY TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR SUCH A PRECIOUS LOSS OF LIFE. ONE WHO SAVED MANY A SOUL WITH ONLY HIS VOICE. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE, YOUNG SIR & THO I'VE ONLY RECENTLY LEARNED OF YOUR LIFE AND GIFT, YOU SHALL REMAIN IN EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL AND WITH EACH SONG WE HEAR; MAY YOUR SPIRIT SOAR HIGH ACROSS THE HEAVENS ABOVE, WITH WINGS OF SILVER AND MAY YOU NOW SING WITH THE ANGELS OF GOD ALMIGHTY! GOD BLESS YOUR SPIRIT & YOUR SOUL, AMEN.
Depression is a damn monster. How dare it take this genius from us.

Hi I recommend a song called 'the bond villain' by Robert Nix
He was not depressed, none of the sg members said so, nor his wife
Chris Cornell was so Great a Poet as he was a wonderful singer.
I am completely embarrassed to say that I didn't know this artist until the news broke worldwide recently (don't flame me). Incredible. This song and video is pure class. I love the alternative video to the song that was shown on a recent TV special along with other performances. I feel cheated I'll never see him live. But at least I have this. Thanks Chris RIP.
The great thing about discovering a musician late in their career is the treasure trove you have to explore -- Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave, solo albums, many collaborations, covers... enjoy.
Listening to Mr Chris Cornell RIP X. Songs The Promise. Nearly Forgot my Broken Heart , the Lyrics. Are and I Sense 'Fragile' Beautiful and True, A Deep Overwhelming Vibe' is Conjured up, to what feels to be, A Deeply Lonely Being, in An Uncertain Dark. Place. Haunting.... and relateable. ' May Your MUSIK Your Words. Your. Spirit..live On'. Your Soul is Free X Love & Eternal Peace. May 29th. 2021. COURAGE. JUSTICE.
I saw him live just Chris and his guitar and nothing else.He played everything from Rusty cage,Black hole sun, Outshined,To this song .I also saw them in 92 with Soundgarden but His live show with just him was so different. So much love I miss him.
You are so lucky you got those memories!
If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : th-cam.com/video/YJqmsXd8QH4/w-d-xo.html&t
The song writing ability of Cornell is off the charts. Most musicians suck when it comes to telling stories. He's a master!
I’ll never comprehend how something with such qualities manages to go unappreciated to this degree.
Hi I recommend a song called 'the bond villain' by Robert Nix
"Try to take a picture of the sun. It won't help you to see the light." Rest in peace, Chris Cornell.
God, he was such a transcendent talent on every level. As a vocalist, as a song writer, as a performer. They'll never be another.
Hi I Recommend a Song called 'The Bond Villain' By Robert Nix
This is probably the best lyric video I've ever seen lol
That's because they deleted the actual music video that depicted him being hanged. 😔
Fell in love with the song, with the voice back then and still am captive... What a loss... I hope the heart is healed wherever you are now...
Chris wasn't simply a songwriter. He was a poet. One of the greatest writers to ever put pen to paper
Here I am on the nearly New Moon back here ❤️🔥nobody sings like you anymore 😭
Everybody is talking about Chris, but can we take a moment to appreciate whoever made this lyrics video? Def one of the best out there
RIP Chris Cornell. You're an absolute legend.
One of the best singers in the world. Absolutely breath taking voice and range, such a big loss...tremendous talent. May the Lord keep him close. RIP
Finally! Good Music in my ears, Thanks God Cornell.
Oh my brother you coming back! Just wait! ✴️👊❤️👁️
RIP LEGEND a true musician & poet screaming life to king animal to this say hello to heaven CC
From that terrible day, to this and all the days ahead, I will mourn the silence of a singular and unique voice. It's still hard to listen to his raspy and ranged tones without an overpowering sense of tragedy....when it was always, one of exaltation.
CHRIS CORNELL IS JUST A LEGEND. A VOICE THAT CAN NEVER BE DUPLICATED.

Amazing talent.so sad
I know you made your comment around 3 years ago. Sorry for replying so long afterwards. But........I sound exactly like Chris Cornell. No one else knows but my steering wheel.

@@michaelreyes2301 I was only joking. I have a very strong accent. I do love American rock......... the harder stuff, but ballads like this are touching. I also like shooting and hiking the woods, camping, hunting and fishing. I don't usually make videos of myself though.

God Bless You Chris..Heaven choir is amazing with you singing to Jesus
Every time I hear this song, I just can't help but to cry. Rest in peace brother.
I come back to this song every once in a while. It's a great track but since he died, it just makes me cry every time.

im 62, i seen many great bands live in concert, i dont know why, but the loss of chris cornell has really hit me..all i can say is r i p
The alchemistical symbolism is mind blowing in this video. He’s dropped so many secrets in here for you.
Prometheus
Can anyone explain what you think the video means? The original video with him is on Vimeo. I think Viki had them take it off here
@@breesechick the original one with them hanging him, some message there. He kept saying and all of his music he said the same thing he was suicidal. Always contemplating death. Is it a coincidence? someday we will know.. all of us touched by his music but what's the message?
He dropped so many secrets for 30 years. My favorite pagan!
Connects me straight to Tarot and the archetypes. Or perhaps a lil Vesica Piscis. Forbidden knowledge :)
this song literally saved my life. ❤️
No one sings like you anymore
Always be the best front Man and Unique Singer I have ever seen. This song always hits home.
I miss him he pulled me threw my depression RIP Chris and thank you for all you have done
