Loved this content. So interesting. I really like yours and Ben's perspective, which is pretty much identical to mine. I totally agree to the irrational and frantic pursue of creating an academical approach when it comes to organize a training session. Personally i think that we, as coaches and especially if we coach young players; should try to design training sessions that never look the same. We should try to meet the urges and the needs that our players show us with their emerging behaviours. And accompany them through the learning process, that in sport such as football is neverending. We can be accelerators for our kids to navigate along their path, but we can also risk of turning into a both psychological and technical brake to them. Anyway, i really appreciate your work. Keep it going like this and many compliments to Ben, cause he speaks in such a wonderful way and communicate so well the message. 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for sharing your insight and for the kind words. I think a lot of people feel the same. We are teaching the skills of the game more effectively but perhaps removing the passion and love of the game at the same time. I think that's a positive discussion to have and will take flexible/skillful thinking to solve. Hopefully we can get there!
Hey coach! I'm working as a tactical analyst and Im stuck in a certain level of observation & analysis... In terms of pre and post match analysis there are still moments of congestion that are chaotic from my perspective and I cant brake them down. Can you give me a piece of advice for a stronger analytical eye?!
