Are these lighting and humidity changes coming to the integrated line of subzero products?

Neat fridge, though for the asking price I personally would want to see more metal on the interior. Waiting on that Thermador T48BT120NS, looking like it might be a solid competitor.

I don't get everyone's obsession with SS interiors...that just means it will scratch and look like crap in a few years from cleaning...the white interior is more resilient and given these things last forever with good maintenance, the SS is a bad option IMO

@@triaxe-mmb I don't mind plastic, but if it's plastic I would expect to see a relatively lower price. It's more of a question of value for the money. That said, I can see how it might help a bit in retaining temperatures, and I don't think scratching would be much of a problem except perhaps in door panels that might encounter glass bottles.

@@rafflesmaos fair point on interior and it being a light touch and all that...
subzero does price itself as the premium product that it is, but I think how they define premium is based on component quality, reliability, service, support, customer service, etc and not really on the interior material...but I think you are right that there is a perception of lesser value & which is probably why their designer series is supposedly moving to SS interiors...
To each their own I guess on finish - I still like their products overall...mostly cause of the hinges for me...I have a tight space where it needs to fit and they can have 2 left swing door components installed side by side with no clearance needed...

The bottom door bin is shorter to accommodate the lower drawer pulling out without swinging the door all the way open. :)

You are correct! I figured it out a few days after filming this. 😬

Haha I needed to know this because our door doesn't have enough clearance @@theappliancereview !

I like that this is not a stainless steel interior...

Is that a good or bad thing? I am very drawn to the stainless Steel finishes in some fridges

@@mercynamikoye9084 I personally don't like SS finishes on interior for scratches over time. It is nearly impossible to stop small superficial scratches on SS exteriors even when cleaning with microfiber clothes...it is just a guaranteed thing that over time it will scratch...
Additionally, in the interior of a fridge there is the potential for moisture, so I think it's a high chance that it will lead to other issues over time...pitting/rusting is potentially a possibility depending on if it's surface protected steels vs metallurgically protected steels...
I have never used a fridge and thought to my self "I wish this was a SS interior so I can have it a little colder"...
I get the initial aesthetic value but people underestimate the amount of work it takes to keep SS looking good and scratch, mark, and fingerprint free...
