    Contacting Jason and Chris at Compton Group was the best decision we made in relocating our families from Ca to Brownsburg. They went above and beyond. These videos helped us so much. We are so happy to be here

      My Nephew just bought a new home in Brownsburg, moving from Sacramento. He could afford a home there, not Sac. as a first time home buyer. Visited him two months ago. l was very impressed with that area of lndianapolis and also Northeast lndy. where my neice moved at the same time for the same reason. However l was very, very unimpressed with the quality of the new track homes like theirs being constructed. I saw firsthand in their new neighborhoods the various stages of construction from foundation to finish since both neighborhoods were/are still being built out. I am sorry to say that l was APPALLED! Please do not take my word for it. As a carpenter (retired) l have built many wood frame residential and commercial buildings here in Sacramento. The abosolutly horrible junk we produced here in the 70's compares pretty equally to the new track homes in Indy. We've gotten better here by leaps and bounds in quality ant time, a short time, will show that new track home byers in Indy are being scammed. Again sorry to say it but buyer beware.

    Listening to you talk about traffic and watching the video and not sure what time of day it was shot but traffic doesn't seem bad at all. I realize rush hour is worse but what I am seeing is not a deterrent to moving there at all.

    • @LivingInIndianapolis
      @LivingInIndianapolis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually shoot videos outside of rush hours. But, traffic during those times is heavier but nowhere near some of the worst traffic you'll find a across the country

    Hi Jason! I stumbled across your video about greenfield when we moved to Greenfield. I love it here. Best decision we even made for our family. We have live off Allisonville and 62, heart of broad ripple, Nora and collage park area near zionsville. We moved to greenfield in 2019. I would love to see you do an updated greenfield video. Our little town is Booming!

    While crime is rising in downtown indianapolis, its just simply apart of a national trend and theres not anything specifically about indianapolis that makes it less safe than any other major US city. Homicides are actually down when compared to this point last year. The suburbs particulary are more safe than anyone could fathom. While they are growing, you can still feel the small town vibe in the suburbs in contrast to the urban sprawl and growth of "Anytown USA" across the country. In fact, Indy is the best kept secret, and to be honest, I'd like it to stay that way.

      Thanks! There's a large number of suburbs that would be good for a family with 3 kids. It just depends on what you're looking for and which side of Indy is best for you. What is it you're looking for?

      @@LivingInIndianapolis We are looking to purchase our first single family home. Your typical 3 bedroom, 2 car garage property. I've been leaning towards Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg and Fishers. I have a cousin that I currently visited back in April who lives in Camby, Indiana.

    Seriously thinking to move to Indianapolis, biggest concern for me is housing. Read that the market is blooming. I will buy eventually, are properties values appreciating enough for reasonable investment? Comparing renting, pricing is reasonable? Thanks, your videos are VERY helpful.

    I really don't like baseball but even I'll admit Victory Field is pretty awesome.
    Can't wait to see the new concert venue Downtown being included in the redevelopment of the Jail Processing site that's going to be run by The Vogue owners.
