Welcome 🙏🏿 thank you for your time and support. The basic price for a plot of land in this very area is 3 million FCFA above. Of course, there are legal documents like land processes in other countries. This area is very interesting because it is not far from Bissau city, about 15 - 20 minutes drive from Bissau

Same question I had. We need to develop a system on the entire continent for this. Diasporans who want to relocate. But we also have to plan out how a growing returning presence will impact the communities. I think there should be some sort of 50/50 plan where a returning diaspora looking to buy land, start a business etc. absolutely must work in the communities to bring new jobs, build roads and infrastructure, upkeep electricity and water/sewage lines and work cooperatively to expand and build new ones...there is so much wealth in the diaspora...we can learn from and teach each other....otherwise a huge influx of "expats" would be a repeat of a process that has already shown not to be too beneficial to the welcoming country. This we can do, and the whole thing can be organised online if good people come to the table with ideas, bring experts in certain areas...we could create something amazing.

Many thanks for this helpful information and sharing the experience of exploring the ground and negotiations. It`s actually attractive to purchase a real estate parcel in Bissau. Is it allowed to foreigners too, if for example they want to set up a holiday residence? Are there restrictions due to environmental protection? Anyway for me it`s no option, because I can`t afford it, but may be one of my friendy might be interested. 😕
