As I look at these videos, I get the impression that many of our people are humble, calm & grateful souls, hence the reason why so many think that they can simply walk unto the Afrikan continent, do & take whatever they want...hmph!

The people are humble but not naive look at all the shrines the know who’s coming in peace or not don’t be fooled by the looks of their simplicity and humbleness. They are us and we are them.

Everyone one of these people would love/prefer to have tarred roads , running water and electricity .All the mansions in Africa people keep showing, are the people living in them not Africans ?So are you saying that SOME Africans want modern conveniences and some do not ?Or is it that on the continent because of Government failures you basically have to provide everything for yourself and that costs money.

My physical planning mind noted something, houses are built closer to road reserve. Is it that the rural part of G. Bisau are not guided by planning laws and regulations? Those houses did not left out setbacks/building lines in their plots...

I like how you give us an unfiltered and unbiased glimpse into life as it is in these countries: rural, urban, weddings, funerals leaving it to the viewers to form their own opinion. And for me, my heart pains for the beautiful people of this country who deserve so much more. I had to do my own research and found out that this country has few roads with only 10% of them being paved. It also has the lowest rate of electrification in Africa. Not going to expound too much but I blame the leaders who are able to travel outside their countries should know better.

Infrastructure a is key to fighting poverty, how are they supposed to get to hospitals? Schools? Get their products to the market? This is sad!

My problem with Kenyan infrastructure is it is not done to suit the capacity. So you find a zone with massive population which has busy traffic but the roads, drainage system built does not match the size of that zone. An example is the road along Kamakis where the place ideally would be well served with a highway but it's a one on one traffic. Same thing with mombasa road which is the busiest in the nation yet not to highway standards. Then when it comes to water. One would expect massive dams serving city centers cause out cities are increasing at a massive rate due to rural urban migration. My wish is infrastructure built in Kenya and across Africa serves to the capacity and with less corruption cause it's painful when your country takes huges debts then corruption happens and so the road built is of poor quality
