- Useful for punishing opponents

- Dashing, jumping and fast falling covers ground quickly
- Important chase and neutral option at high levels

- Dashing off side of soft platforms for mix-ups
- Combines well with other movement techniques

- Dare, recovery moves aid mixups when disadvantaged

I definitely needed that chase dodge tech, Ive been looking for a wayb to cancel my momentum for a while now. The lord delivered
my movement is what holds me back the most by far. I just recently hit plat in 1v1 and it was so damn hard because everyone has way better movement than me I had to play pretty passive with spear and lance but my number one goal is to get good movement and hopefully this video helps ill leave an update in a few days after i train every day
same high gold no movement hold me back superior i have floaty habits 😞
@@shxwnw Ive gotten a lot better with my movement because i go into training and train my movement every single day. Im still horrible on maps with platforms and im sure that will never change but my movement has gotten much better.
Just go into training and go back and forth dash jump fast falling and train your fast falls cancels.

10:34 yo sands about that thing you showed right here idk if you know this but there's a special property on sidra's sword dsig where you can do the same thing shown in the video like recover your jumps by using it on the wall, it also has a bigger hitbox and it spikes so it's very good to catch opponents off guard, but it can become pretty predictable, anyways it's a great tool

The Scythe Dlight Change after countless testing I'm pretty sure correct me if I'm wrong, NLight SAir DLight was jumpable before and now if you catch a dodge you can do NLight SAir GC DLight (No AI) jump SAir

There should be a software that can accurately track all options of a set play during any interaction, maybe add some chain links when hit or connecting.
btw you can also dodge down and hold up and you will float for a split second. same goes for chasedodge downward.
I'd say try avoiding the spam dash and learn exactly when to dash bcs u don't want to lose your dodge only to get a ledge cancel to get punished after on bcs of wasting your dodge.. So only in the cases where u know you have no dodge atm
i wish they would have changed a few more things this last patch maybe then sandstorm would upload more :(

I have a suggestion, if you ever make a guide video again you could possibly set up one of those things on the side of the video so it shows ur keyboard inputs as you input the move, similar to people having a controller on the side of their videos, I think it would help show the viewers how fast and or slow you have to input the move just a thought, the video was still really great!
