I just made this pretty much to a “t”! I didn’t add extra jalapeños or olives at the end, but I put cilantro on it. It’s sooooo good! Second recipe I tried from here. So far, 2/2 have been amazing!

Your ingredients and old school preparation techniques ensure that the nachos you made are delicious!!! I’ve been making my own nachos laid out on a baking pan cooked in the oven for the past ten or so years. Instead of chips, I use cut corn tortillas. I regularly make a supposed tradicional Mexican style carnitas with a marinade I modified, cooked in a crock pot. I use the carnitas on the nachos, along with my own home made salsa fresca (mostly fire roasted ingredients) and it is amazing. I am certain that you can make my old school variant even better.

I can't comment on the nacho cheese recipe because unfortunately I didn't have the ingredients...but what I can comment on is the seasoned beef. I used it in a taco bowl and it's honestly the best I've ever had. I've only just started watching your videos as of yesterday, youtube did me dirty and hadn't introduced me to your channel until then, but I'm going to make up for loss times. I am new to your channel. You are a doll & your children are beautiful. I grew up in the central valley of California many years ago and your cooking takes me back. Way back in the day we had a favorite little place to go for mexican food that is some of the best I have ever tasted. Of course grandma ran the kitchen while a dozen or more family members worked the dining room. She made a clear sweet drizzle that was for the tostados & nachos. I tried several times to copy it, but I always fell short. Are you familiar with this topping? And if so willing to share it. Grandma just smiled every time we asked. Your video are terrific and everything looks delicious. The only problem I find is, we aren't neighbors. Thank you for sharing and jiggling my memories. Keep up the great work.

I use cooking scissors to cut up my fruits and veggies. Even my meats. They don't have to be perfect. It's all going to the same place anyways.
