I am 70 and I get this. I give myself permission to be, and I'm loving my own work. I give myself encouragement, and I just paint. And each day is good...some days are awesome. Fun to watch you paint.
Love your style, sense of humour, art work, & outlook on your approach to how painting should be done, well done Jose’, keep up the great work, John Slawson, Canada
Powerful word, Virtual aspect of life. I have been struggling with my faith past few years. Thanks for the video and your powerful words! You truly are amazing!
I like your approach reflecting on belief and faith in the process - i think it is very important - the question is how do you gange from double to faith - I think it comes as a decision to open yourself to belief, hope and love - love as the strongest transformational force -
Jose thank you for sharing your thoughts and your techniques on oil painting. My question is do you pre-mix your paints or do you apply pure color to the canvas and mix it on there??
Omar Lopez Great question. I do it both ways. Depending on effect In going for. However, most of my videos on TH-cam are pre-mixed paints...because I want it to flow. ☺

I like it when you say Baam!!!!!! Awesome
It seems that the oil color and the way you use your medium make the color very soft and fine to move around.

I love that! I don't really know :) Trust maybe?
Yes fear is the most destructive thing. To create you have to accept yourself...
Beautiful art! What colors do you mix to paint the sky?
Pthalo blue and Viridian Hue! :)
Seems to work great with panels - what panels do you use?
Just any regular canvas panel. Frederix or Blick will do the job :)
i like your videos. i watched 15 videos and they all started with the word
'all right' lol
