Absolutely astoundingly beautiful and exciting in equal part! Harmony, homophony, melody and polyphony, all perfection! 🥺 I really love De Brossard now!
(also, the last movement has a striking resemblance to the final movement of Bachs peasant cantata! 🤔)
Still imo one of the best grand motets of all time!
