    I bought one because of you. I now have 3 and I use all of my bbw candles in them. I get a solid week of scent from most of them. I rarely burn a candle now and my walls and furnace air filter thanks me.

    I bought the same one. Cause of you and for mostly bbw candles. Very productive purchase. Now I hv a shelf of candles just for the crock. I’ve heard you mention it for years. I thought this would be an expensive purchase.. To my surprise they were less than $25. I paid around $13 on sale. So well worth it.

    Thanks to you I have 3 crocks! Love them. I prefer the crock over burning anyday💜. I leave my crocks on 24/7.

    Love using my candle crock. It had allowed me to extend my aromatic candle a few days.

    I am so excited you made this video!! I have wanted a candle crock since you made that video years ago!!
    I just ordered 2 of the cream with your link (thank you!!) and they were only 12.49!!! So cool!!
    Thanks for all the tips.
    I’m a 24 hour user 😬
    But I won’t ever re-light the candles!!
    Happy Sunday my friend 💜

    I'm so happy I snagged one of the teal ones up on black friday! I agree lighting these after melting would be a terrible idea. Not only the wick moving issue but I also think that the integrity of the glass would be compromised because your heating the whole glass up so intensely for a period of time.

    I bought 2 after your first video a few years ago, and have loved them ever since! They have been very useful for all those Yankee and now BBW duds. Thanks for introducing them!

    I was gifted a candle crock. Last month I was burning BBW Twisted Peppermint and on the 3rd burn my son said it smelled like ethanol. So I put it in the candle crock, and no more gasoline smell. Crocks are great for all the reasons you mentioned.

    Hey Melanie! Love your videos. So excited to see this video. I bought my candle crocks based on your original candle crock video.
    When my candle no longer has any scent, I pour out the melted wax into the trash (I've never had an issue with it melting the bags b/c I use pretty thick bags), wipe it out and presto! Clean jar that I can reuse! I sometimes pop the empty jar into the dishwasher if I feel like it needs just a little more cleaning.

    It’s like you read my mind! I just lit a candle last night from BBW for 3 hours that burned horribly and was thinking “I can take it back or I can get a candle crock!” I’m buying one now!

    • @MrKongsMom

      I mean, sometimes it might be worth returning... but honestly I get what I would consider a fair amount of life out of the candles when I melt them.... or at least that is how I justify being too lazy to always bring them back lol.

    Thanks for this video Melanie! I use my small "Little Dipper" crock pot. A BBW 3 wick fits inside. I've not tried a taller candle in it so I'm not certain of the outcome. This is what works for me for the candles I currently have.

    Hey, I love the medallion one you've recommended! Unsurprised tho, as Candle Warmers. Etc. is my fav warmer brand.
    I did have 2 of the marbled black ones from Elanze Designs on Amazon for about 8 months. I went to turn on the upstairs one, one day it it literally just blew up. So I tossed that one and the other one away. Just fyi. It also gets hotter to the touch than the Candle Warmers one.

    Useful if I ever get into candles 🕯 which may happen one of these years especially when you mention some particularly attractive sounding scents!😁👍 I’m not a fan of open flame, so this looks like the way for me to try candles out.

  • @debbielugard

    I need one of these Melanie but the only sort we have here are lamps they melt the wax which I don’t like.
    I like the idea that they are contained in the crock rather than on a open hot plate.

  • @lauraladyll
    @lauraladyll 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I have a wax melter and have used it before to melt the last bits of candles, but wasn’t sure if I should put them directly on the hot plate. I will probably do that with the last bits of my larger candles from now on.

    I’m so excited Melanie. I just snagged a candle crock from Boscov’s for half price plus free shipping! I can’t wait to use it because I have a B&BW candle that (no joke) only burned half way. The wicks will.not.stay.lit. for anything. 🙄

    Candle Warmers Etc. no longer sells these.🙁. There are some on Amazon but they don’t look near as nice as this one..I am also wondering if the plain ones on Amazon are this large size? I also wonder why they stopped selling them, I have at least four of their lamps tho

    What do you think if the candle lamp, top warmers? Thank you for your great review. Learned all about crocks.

    • @MrKongsMom
      @MrKongsMom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally I don't care for the lamp style because they only melt a "section" at a time (the part directly under the bulb. Then you have to pour out the wax so get to the next "section" of wax that has fragrance oils in it. The crock heats EVERYTHING at once and I essentially "set it and forget it" lol.

    Hello Melanie! This candle crock looks really beautiful!!! Do you know how many watts It uses? Wattage should be written at down

    • @MrKongsMom
      @MrKongsMom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I looked at the bottom and all I saw was 120 volts, no wattage unfortunately. I am going to assume it's 25 watt as this is what is typically used for crocks.
